Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Johannesburg South

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

Great house in a great location. Lived up to the photos and description! In walking distance to some great eateries and boutiques, which is a rarity in Johannesburg. Hannah was super helpful with recommending good places to eat and see. Lovely neighbourhood and a beautiful house, we will definitely be back!

A beautiful find in the middle of Linden, very close to a lot ammenties and restaurants. Very much enjoyed my stay, Agnes and Francois were wonderful hosts, recommend staying at their beautiful home 100%. A gem of a Airbnb. They catered to some last minute changes I had with no issue and were very understanding. If you're looking for safe, very accomdating place for you and a couple of people.. definitely consider giving their place a try!

Our stay at Yana’s beautiful 3-bedroom Airbnb was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. She even kindly had fresh flowers for our stay put in. The living areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. Yana has thought of everything — from a fully stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The location was fantastic as well — quiet, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed, from restaurants and cafes to parks and shopping. Rosebank is only 4 mins away by car. Above all, Yana was an outstanding host — responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience. Staying here was definitely value for money. A great spot, private, quiet and Raymond was responsive and friendly. Appreciated the short stay and would recommend staying here if wanting to be close to Montecasino and neighbouring attractions. Thank you for the gift as well :)

Had a wonderful stay at Miralda’s place. Everything is so well equipped and a lovely spacious space offering a great work area and close proximity to shopping malls and the airport. Very safe and secure and will definitely return.

The place was beautiful and spaceous, offering an open plan kitchen, fireplace, braai area outside and bathtub and shower in addition to a comfortable bed. The place is situated in a gated community with free parking. The environment was also very warm and offers wifi and a wide variety of restaurants and activities to visit around the area. Pearl was also very responsive, we easily were assisted with anything. Looks exactly like the photos. She even recommended places you can check out ,gave clearl instructions on everything in the house. Will definitely come back.

Louise was extremely helpful throughout all my staying and always very quick to get back at me when I had a question, the premises were clean, and orderly. Definitely worth the price and would definitely come back any time.

Bedroom has a great view and ample sunshine in the mornings. Great hospitality and friendly.

What was supposed to be a two-day booking became four weeks! Sam and Clive's place was well-appointed, spacious and decorated in such a way (books included!) that it felt like returning home, rather than going to an Airbnb. It is private, with its own entrance and dedicated parking situated in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood - walking distance to a shopping centre with restaurants and a short driving distance to major malls and amenities. Before accepting my booking, they surprised me by listing challenges (such as a power failure, their unavailability for the weekend) and then checking with me if I still wanted to book despite the challenges. They both met me in the pouring rain to let me in and show me around the cottage. Over the course of my stay they respected my privacy whilst checking in on me every so often to ensure I was ok and had everything I needed - and even made me a meal when I was ill! I would highly recommend the cottage for anyone needing a home away from home!

Great beautiful home. Clean and tidy. Has everything you need. Perfect if you have a big family. Unfortunately couldnt use the pool as it was cold. Had a fire place for the cold winter nights. The Tennis court was such a hit. Shoes the care taker was very helpful. I Would recommend this place. My family and i loved it.
