Absolutely fantastic stay with a great host!

Great location and lovely place. Just could make check-in a lot easier. Whilst it’s nice to have all the info about the area and things to do just makes it very complicated with all the documents sent over. I suggest sending the lock key code on AirB&B and keep all the other stuff separate.

Lovely upside-down barn conversion (spacious living /dining/kitchen area upstairs), very characterful with the exposed roof beams and stone floors downstairs. Beautiful rural setting opposite the church and fields, and near a working dairy farm. We really loved our stay! Host was fixed any little issues quickly, and our family of 4 had a chilled out time when not exploring the Lakes.

Have to say, hands down this was by far and away our best ever Airbnb experience. From start to finish Jon was helpful, responsive, courteous, at all times. We had personalized welcome packs, an amazing array of welcome hospitality including wine, beer, chocolate, fresh bread, cereals, local butter and milk and the house was immaculate. When we asked for keys to the lockup for storage they appeared within minutes. We asked for slightly later check out and that was no problem. The locals were friend and the area beautiful, all in all a fantastic experience Jon is a fantastic host. We’ll be back
