This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses are located along the path. Without crowds of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid) Here, you can still find wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Romantic, heated, spacious shepherd's hut with bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Cosy box-bed, comfortable couch, TV incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime. In Summer the (shared) pool can be used by guests. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

We have furnished the front house of the farm as an attractive accommodation for 2 guests who are fond of peace and privacy. The comfortably furnished front house has its own entrance.
