Beach house holiday rentals in Jones Beach Island

We had the best time at Robby and Joe's place!! Before we arrived, they reached out to make sure we find everything ok and they were so sweet. Their place was exactly as described and we felt at home right away. The location is perfect!! Super comfortable beds and they had a very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. From beach chairs over Kajaks to umbrellas, they have everything!! The outdoor space is a dream, we watched the sunset every evening. A magical stay! Will definitely be back soon!!

Can’t say enough great things about John’s property! Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) loved our long weekend away. The location is amazing, right across the street from the beach entrance and walkable to a couple eateries, supermarket and subway. It was spotless, spacious and just as shown in the pictures. Stocked with the basics, nice kitchen with everything we needed. We had a couple small questions and couldn’t get over how responsive and nice John and Ashley are. Also super easy check out, which was extra nice. We are already looking forward to booking a trip to come back!

Great stay! We had a wonderful time. The home was in a very convenient location. Easy to get to from the ferry, close to the main restaurants and beach, but still far enough to feel quiet and private. The home was clean and had many little details that made our stay cozy and welcoming. Bikes and beach chairs were wonderful for a beach getaway on Fire Island. Outdoor shower had hot water which was very nice since we were visiting preseason. Host was very responsive and helpful. We have stayed in many different places on Fire Island in the past and are very happy we found this home and host. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Fantastic stay at Frank’s place in Mastic Beach. Gorgeous location across from the beach, close to the Hamptons and very private and tranquil. The house was exactly as described and Frank was a gracious and proactive host who responded promptly to our questions. We enjoyed the backyard and the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Smiths Point Beach is just a short drive away, and we were close to the Hamptons and the wineries. We will definitely be staying again and recommend this highly.

Every room was even better than expected: • The infrared sauna in the modern bathroom felt like a luxury spa experience. • The kitchen was sleek, bright, and fully equipped, perfect for quick meals or longer stays. • The bedroom, bathed in soft blue ambient lighting, created the most relaxing sleep environment I’ve had in a while. • The living area was stylish, cozy, and equipped with a large flatscreen TV—ideal for winding down. Anthony was an outstanding host—warm, communicative, and quick to respond to any questions. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. Whether you’re traveling for work, wellness, or a quiet getaway, this space delivers on all fronts. I’ll absolutely be back.

Christina’s place is a lovely cottage by the marina and walkable into town. The main loft bedroom and sitting area is spacious and comfortable. We stayed for the holiday with our adult daughter and we were all comfortable and cozy. She had her own bedroom on the main floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we visited our family over the holiday.

This place was neat, clean and well appointed with a homey feeling. Everything was as advertised and even more. Host was extremely helpful. Anything we needed was there. Looking forward to coming back.

Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The home is truly exceptional—newly renovated in 2025 and looks like something straight out of Architectural Digest. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed and executed to the highest standard. The space was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Highlights include a stunning new pool, central A/C, reverse osmosis water filter, bright modern lighting, strong water pressure, a luxurious clawfoot tub, even high grade 18/10 silverware. The bedsheets were unbelievably soft—100% long-staple cotton—and made for an incredibly restful stay. What really stood out was the host’s hospitality. Karen went above and beyond to accommodate our toddler, providing a cot, booster seat, bibs, child-friendly dishes, and more. She also had a handy man and pool person come by. The location was perfect, walkable to Main Street. We truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re lucky enough to find this place, book it now!

This was truly a unique home in a quaint spot in New Rochelle. A friendly neighbor actually knew the original owner who she said was a Buddhist, which makes so much sense. The decor and homeyness was welcoming and intriguing. The house itself is very clean and well laid out for the space. The house is on a corner right next to a park which not a lot of traffic that comes through. The only downside is the lack of parking, the driveway fits one car. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

We we’re going to Port Jefferson for a family wedding. Our Airbnb was perfectly situated. There is a pool area that we never used because we just didn’t have time. But it looked very inviting. The town of Port Jefferson had plenty of nice restaurants and shops. This house was perfect for our situation. We had six adults, all family members.

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever been to. I usually don't write reviews, but this was truly an exceptional experience. Not only is house very comfortable, the host, John, is also very, very generous and thoughtful. The amenities were very well-stocked and so much detail went into making this house comfortable. Not to mention the backyard is huge (with a dock leading directly to the bay), the pool is perfectly heated, and there's so many things to do inside the house that we hardly even wanted to venture out of it the whole 4.5 days we were there! I highly recommend booking a stay here especially with family - it was a good experience for everyone from the young kids to the grandparents to the dogs.

Great and responsive host. Home was lovely and we felt welcome. Host responded quickly to questions and requests. The home was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area. I would recommend for a peaceful time away from the city.

We had such a fantastic time staying at this house. It truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully set up to make our stay easy and relaxing. One of the highlights was how well-equipped the house was for kids. There were so many great toys, games, and especially books that kept our little ones happy and entertained the whole time. It made traveling with children so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is excellent. It's just a short walk or quick drive to several beaches. Mother’s Beach was a standout for us. Calm, safe, and perfect for kids to explore without worry. Overall, this house offered the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and family-friendly fun. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. Highly recommend it for families looking for an stress-free getaway close to NYC!

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

I have been using Airbnb for many years. This house is absolutely perfect. First of all the house was extremely clean felt right at home. Great space with my family. We moved off LI a year ago but have to travel to visit family and friends will absolutely stay here again! Samantha your place is perfect and you are a fantastic host. Thanks again!

Great little place in Hoboken NJ that was comfy and spacious for 5 people. Thoroughly enjoyed the Hoboken area and very easy to get to New York City on the path. Mengli was very communicative and accommodated our early arrival. The place was clean and a nice place to stay at. I would stay here again if traveling to the NJ/NYC area.

The house was very nice and in a great location. Lots to do in the area. The kitchen and The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom were nice and remodeled. The downstairs bathroom needs updating. It is original to the house. The house was very clean and the kitchen was spotless. The house is nicely decorated. The host Gordon was extremely responsive.

Well-appointed and beautiful new property with space for a family of four to spread out and feel comfortable. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and towels and beach pass so that we could enjoy the private beach access down the road. The board games and family-friendly downstairs space was also a wonderful addition! Chris was an incredibly friendly and responsive host; I was comfortable asking questions at anytime during our stay.

Had a truly amazing stay! House was exactly as pictured and was perfect for sleeping 8 people comfortably. Perfect location in between the beach and the town. Host was incredibly accommodating and very responsive. Outdoor roof space was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Highly recommend!!
