Farmstay holiday rentals in Jonkoping County

We had a very nice week in Bart's Villa Kunterbunt. Our 2-year-old son loved the garden and the play area in the attic with play kitchen and wooden train. The house is small but well suited for 3 people. There was a baby travel bed for our son, as he was still too small to sleep in the alcove. Bart was very kind and helpful, phoned us before arrival and explained everything to us. The house is a bit lonely, there are only a few neighboring houses. Nearby there is a lake with a beautiful swimming area, it is 15 minutes to Eksjö and an elk park, and about 50 minutes to Vinmerby, Katthult and Bullerbyn. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was great! Good place to stay for a small retreat.

We arrived late and left early. We had a good dialogue with the hosts before arrival. They always responded very quickly when we had any questions. The apartment was clean and fresh and met our expectations. Thank you so much for us!

Emmas place is perfect if you want to have a cozy time in nature. She is an amazing host and our highlight was the little, private wooden sauna on the lake side. I‘d always go back there. :)

Cozy little cabin located in very quiet surroundings. Suitable for a stay where most activities are outside the cabin as, just as described, it is small. Lovely terrace with morning sun and nice view. Robert was very welcoming and extremely flexible with special requests, which was a great help. There is no freezer, but other common kitchen necessities are available.

We had a great stay at Tonys place and would love to came back one day. The house was well equipped and the surroundings beautiful. It was great to have the change to go out on the lake on a boat. The little house in the garden was perfect for enjoying a relaxing dinner, feeling almost like you were sitting in the middle of the forest itself. Thank you for your hospitality Tony

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. Lovely and cozy home. Extremely clean and a good host

We had a wonderful stay at Hanna's and Martin's place. They were always there if we had questions. We liked the quiet atmosphere and especially sitting on the terrace. The cottage was very clean and with many nice details such as the wooden stairs and the tin bathtube which we liked very much! Looking forward to coming back some time. Thank you, Hanna&Martin

We had a really nice stay at Hanna's place. So cozy with cats, dogs and horses around the cabin. It's an older cabin, but we think that's part of the charm of a Swedish cabin. Lovely hot bath and good beds, cozy rooms. Hanna was quick to respond if we had any questions, she was very hospitable and friendly ☺️

5 star – Just perfect! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotlessly clean, very well maintained and equipped with everything you could need – and more. The location right on the lake is simply fantastic: quiet, idyllic and ideal for relaxing. Very special praise goes to the warm host Viktor, who not only provided us with tips about the area, but also regularly surprised us with fresh eggs from their own attitude – a real highlight! The place is not only very well equipped but also offers a beautiful setting – perfect for walks, swimming or just for unwinding. We can fully recommend this place and will definitely be happy to come back. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We were 3 guys on a motorcycle, who had a good night's sleep. The house is nice, with bed linen, bath and whatever else you need.

The house is really very nice, clean and very well equipped... there was nothing missing!! The location in the pretty typical Swedish village is quiet, but that's also what you expect when you go to Småland. There are very good shopping opportunities nearby. The hostess is very nice and helpful!! All around a very nice place to stay that we can highly recommend as a family with 2 small children!! Thank you!!

The stay in Gränna was great. Ola and Lina are very friendly hosts. Unfortunately, we didn't see Ola. Lina helped us with questions. They work in a hotel where we had the opportunity to park and enjoy a delicious dinner. There was also the possibility to have breakfast there, which we did not use. There were three of us in the accommodation and there was more than enough room. The kitchen invites you to cook. There is also a large garden with fruit trees. The washing worked great. The living room invites you to cozy TV evenings. There are plenty of activities around Gränna. However, you are dependent on a car. There is public transport, but by car you are more flexible. We would go back to Ola and Lina's place!

We were able to enjoy Swedish life in the countryside again. Beautiful spacious house in a beautiful place with all kinds of animals around you, chickens, horses, dogs and goats. Hilly with a flowing stream behind the house. Lots of space around the home so we could easily park our car with trailer and boat. Everything is available in the house, but don't expect luxury, it's basic. Beautiful kitchen with good equipment. 4 spacious bedrooms with good double beds, so also for large families. Towels, bed linen, etc. everything is provided and cleaning is done. Maria is a nice host, who leaves you completely quite, as the Swedes usually do and I'm fine with it! Feel completely at home with it. Maria helped us with information about the lake Asunden, where we would be fishing. Thanks again for that. If you want to spend a holiday here, I highly recommend it. Yxefall is a few kilometers above Kisa, where everything you need is present.

Incredibly cozy house with idyllic surroundings! My friends and I had a great weekend and Emily was helpful and responded quickly. The house was very nicely decorated and had everything to make us feel at home.

Stephan was amazing and his place was wonderful. Communication was excellent, the location is absolutely beautiful and our group had a wonderful stay!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in a lovingly and thoughtfully decorated cabin where we lacked nothing. We had the perfect Sweden feeling. The animals right outside the front door such as calves, sheep and chickens have complemented the rural coziness very well. The hosts were always available and helped with questions right away! We totally enjoyed ourselves.
