Farmstay holiday rentals in Sweden

Hi Hannes, your house is very comfortable and cozy. Quiet and peaceful, yet there is much to discover around. This is the second time we have rented and we are equally satisfied. But the house is starting to need a little TLC, which you probably already know.

This was my second visit to this wonderful cabin, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. That really says it all—but I can’t help but share a bit more. The cabin is a charming, traditional Swedish retreat, full of character in every nook and cranny. The garden is spacious, and just nearby you’ll find a beautiful lake, peaceful woods perfect for walking, and an absolutely amazing playground. My nieces begged to go and spent hours climbing, swinging, sliding, and spinning with joy. The barbecue area is excellent, and while you do need a car for groceries and getting around, it’s well worth it. Angarnsjöängen is very close by, and if you enjoy bird photography like I do, it’s truly the place to be. Stockholm isn’t too far either and makes for a great city trip to round out the full on Swedish experience. Highly recommended!

Thank you, Johannes, for giving us the chance to stay at this wonderful piece of land. We spent almost all our time on the river fishing all kinds of fish. That gave us new energy and a very close contact to nature. It was the second time we were here and we will come back even a third time when it is possible.

The house has very good facilities, especially in the kitchen nothing was missing. The location is nice and quiet but still close to Ystad and everything can be reached easily by car or bike.

Such a beautiful spot! We were so happy with everything in the cottage, the sauna was perfect and the surroundings are very picturesque! Looking forward to coming back!

Ulla & Jan-Erik live in a paradise that they maintain with great attention to detail and expertise and willingly share with guests. I couldn't have wished for a more beautiful and relaxing start to the holiday. My dog and I felt very comfortable and hopefully will come back! what a beautiful place, a house where you immediately feel at home and where we immediately fell in love. It was a perfect beautiful view and a wonderful bed There was a breakfast ready with homemade jam delicious....if we are in the area again we will definitely stop by again... We were a group of 10 friends from different countries and came for a long weekend together. We had a great time at Annika and Jonas’ place. Their house is beautiful and well arranged, modern but still with the vibes from its history. The house and its surroundings have many amenities (hot tub, sauna, kayaks, …) and it was great to be so close to the water and nature. It’s also easy to do groceries in the nearby town. Going by public transportation may be possible but a car would be recommended. I can only highly recommend this house for a group of friends or with a family. We loved it!!

The property is really special. An old farmhouse in the middle of the forest, lovingly furnished. Highly recommended. The host Jim is very friendly and we felt very comfortable.

What an amazing night we have spent in the tent! The environment is so peaceful and quiet, sleeping by the stars and listening to the (wild)life out there has been such a nice experience. The beds are super confortable and the tent is perfectly equipped. The kids (and grown ups) have really enjoyed it! It is also a very nice place to explore with lots of activities and great places to discover. Would highly recommend!

We liked staying with Johan very much, the location is really fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is also cozily furnished. Communication with Johan was super easy and he is very hospitable. We only had a small problem with ants, but that was not too bad. We were able to see many other animals and catch a few great fish in the lake! Highly recommended ☺️

We only had a quick night at Elias’s place as we were continuing our travel. Elias responded very quickly and was very flexible regarding our check-in which was very nice in our case. The house was nice and offered everything we needed for our short stay. But I can imagine that also for a longer stay you will have a good time staying at Elias’s place.

We spent some wonderful days at Elisabeth's farm. The house is very tastefully renovated and has everything you could imagine. We had the pleasure of enjoying the new balcony with a lovely view of the meadows. Elisabeth was very accommodating and communicative. Will be happy to come back!

My best friend and I had our first glamping experience and we find it hard to believe that anything could surpass this. So many thoughtful details and surprises, freshly picked flowers, crisp sheets and fluffy duvets. Late in the evening, we saw a fox darting across the field. We are already looking forward to returning and showing more people this magical place!

It was really nice and very well done to feel private even though the houses are so close to each other. Nice surroundings, and cozy that there were horses nearby. Very peaceful place. We would be glad to come back.

The perfect stay for our little family. Annah and Alex were extremely kind and helpful throughout our whole stay. Our kids (2 and 4) had the absolute greatest time exploring the house, grounds, animals and activities. Couldn't recommend more!

We stayed two nights. Me, my pregnant partner and our 2 dogs. Beautiful farm, cozy location. Good parking. Great to be offered breakfast, First time I got it on airbnb. The cottage is cozy, with everything you need for two people. I wish I could stay longer.

Nice, hospitable host and hostess. Comfortable and nice holiday home on a beautiful and quiet yard. It's also nice to get to know you personally. Baby supplies were tiptop in order! Highly recommended

The idyllic surroundings and location were fantastic. The cottage is small and compact, but practically furnished and equipped with most comforts, with an extensive set of kitchen utensils. The garden, play facilities and the fairy garden were very nice. We were unlucky that the pool had to be refilled and heated, but we nevertheless enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and were allowed to use a rowing boat to sail on the lake. #recommended The host was very friendly and checked regularly if everything was okay. It was a nice stop during our road trip ♥️

A wonderful private cottage with everything you need. Great soapstone wood stove, fantastic shower and a wonderful bed. Extremely friendly and helpful host and hostess. Beautiful surroundings with lots of greenery and water. We have seen rabbits, deer and even elk. Besides the animals on the farm, of course. There are cows, sheep, chickens and roosters, bees and 2 imposing but giant friendly dogs (who did not come to you without the permission of the boss, by the way). In short, if you want to get to know Sweden, this is a very suitable starting point that you can hardly tear yourself away from. Thank you very much Janna and Peter for your hospitality.

The stay was very pleasant and without any hassle. I'd love to stay here again!
