Excellent séjour, lieu agréable, charmant et reposant, une déco sympa dans un lieu vraiment mignon. Alexandra et son mari sont très agréables et réactifs, un plaisir de tomber sur des hôtes comme eux. Le logement est parfaitement équipé, impossible de manquer de quelque chose. Très bon jacuzzi, très agréable et complétement privé, à disposition quand on le souhaite et c'est un plaisir. Logement reculé, au calme et pourtant proche de commerces, très bien situé. Rapport qualité prix imbattable, je reviendrai sans soucis :)

Super rapport qualité-prix, l’emplacement est top (à proximité d’un supermarché à 5min en voiture, proche de Royan et Saintes), cette maison vous dépaysera de la ville. Attention au fait d’avoir 1 salle de bain pour 10 personnes (mais nous le savons dès la réservation) Sinon, vraiment conforme aux attentes, je recommande !

Tout y est reposant. Le vieux moulin en pierre et son environnement verdoyant pour les yeux, le bruit de la rivière et le chant des oiseaux pour les oreilles, l'odeur des arbres en fleurs et de l'herbe coupée. Le moulin est à 5-10 minutes à pied de toute les commodités qu'offrent la petite ville médiévale de Pons. Louise et Michael nous ont accueillis chaleureusement, se souciant de notre bien être chez eux tout en préservant notre intimité. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end au Moulin Chaillou, nous ne pouvons que le recommander. Merci Louise, merci Michael.

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming gite. The hosts, Samantha and Jamie were so very friendly and welcoming. They made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was spotless, well equipped, very comfortable and had 2 outdoor areas to relax and admire the pretty garden. We enjoyed it so much we would love to visit again. We highly recommend this place.

The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette magnifique maison en bord de Dordogne. L'emplacement est idéal, l'environnement calme et paisible, à proximité immédiate de Saint Émilion, Libourne, et de nombreux châteaux et vignobles. La maison est superbe, très confortable, parfaitement équipée, et fidèle à l'annonce en tous points. Pimprenelle et sa famille ont été aux petits soins pour nous, et nous ont donné d'excellents conseils de visites ou de bons restaurants dont nous avons bien profité. Nous recommandons à 100% !

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Het was echt een heel fijne week in de gîte rosiers. We hebben erg genoten van de mooie omgeving en leuke activiteiten in de buurt. Super vriendelijke hosts, ze stonden altijd voor ons klaar voor hulp, leuke tips en hier en daar een babbel. Het is zeker en vast een aanrader!!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement de Marie Noelle ! ✨ Le logement était parfaitement propre et corresponds au photos bien que ces dernières ne le mettent pas suffisamment en valeur car il est encore mieux et plus spacieux en vrai ! La place de parking est super pratique et le coin est très calme et charmant avec quelques petites boulangeries sympathiques à proximité ! Marie Noelle a su répondre à toutes nos questions avec gentillesse et est très compréhensive pour les horaires d'arrivée ! Nous recommandons ! 👌

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. We recommend this lovely gite. Thank you

Excellent séjour pendant les vacances de Pâques. Très bon accueil par Rachel qui a été très disponible tout au long de notre séjour. Emplacement extraordinaire quand on recherche le calme et la quiétude. Piscine intérieure géniale les enfants et les adultes se sont régalés. Logement propre , bien aménagé. Merci !

L'hébergement en bord de rivière est magique, les hôtes supers et au taquet, on a passé un excellent (mais trop court) moment.

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé, les hôtes ont été très réactifs avant notre séjour afin de nous donner toutes les informations dont nous avions besoin. La maison est décorée avec goût, l’endroit est tout à fait adapté pour un grand groupe, les chambres sont spacieuses et les salles de bains nombreuses. L’espace extérieur est très agréable avec une vue à couper époustouflante, et l’environnement est calme. Le genre d’endroit qu’on a vite envie de retrouver lorsqu’on le quitte.

We had a lovely time staying at Eric and Fabianne’s beautiful guest house. The riverside setting is idyllic, and we loved the picturesque rural surroundings and historic towns. Our hosts had everything on hand for our baby son and he had a very happy stay. The setting balances tranquility with easy access to shops and restaurants by car. It’s an ideal hub to explore Bordeaux. Huge thanks to our wonderful hosts.

Wie Zuhause 😊 Der perfekte Ort um sich in Montalivet wohl zu fühlen und alles zu Fuß zu entdecken - Strände, Markt, Restaurants, Shops, Apotheke - alles. Wir hatten das Glück und konnten noch länger als geplant (12 anstatt 7 Tage) in der Unterkunft von Claire und François bleiben - alles wie beschrieben, einfach perfekt für meine Frau, unseren Sohn und mich. Claire ist eine fantastische Gastgeberin, die proaktiv so wertvolle Tipps gibt, die sich Zeit nimmt und immer fix antwortet und hilft. Besser geht’s nicht 😊 Danke euch beiden 🙏🤙😊 Wir kommen wieder 😊

Fabulous stay at Le Petit Source. Wonderful house, grounds and pool. The pool in particular was amazing - warm, beautifully done, perfectly situated and huge for a private pool. The house was extremely well equipped with many little extras you wouldn't expect. Jane and Paul were fantastic hosts. Highly recommend.

Lieu accueilllant, confortable et calme. Proche de tous les axes touristiques des environs, Royan, St Georges, Merschers, Marennes et ce train des mouettes qui part de Saujon et va à la Tremblade. Nous conseillons sans hésitation.
