Excellent stay, pleasant, charming and relaxing place, a nice decor in a really cute place. Alexandra and her husband are very pleasant and responsive, a pleasure to come across hosts like them. The place is perfectly equipped, you can't miss anything. Very good hot tub, very nice and completely private, available when you want and it's a pleasure. Remote accommodation, quiet and yet close to shops, very well located. Unbeatable value for money, I'll be back without worries:)

Great value for money, the location is great (near a supermarket 5 min drive, near Royan and Saintes), this house will take you away from the city. Beware of having 1 bathroom for 10 people (but we know this from the reservation) Otherwise, really in line with expectations, I recommend it!

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming gite. The hosts, Samantha and Jamie were so very friendly and welcoming. They made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was spotless, well equipped, very comfortable and had 2 outdoor areas to relax and admire the pretty garden. We enjoyed it so much we would love to visit again. We highly recommend this place.

The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, close to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us excellent advice on visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. The riverside accommodation is magical, the hosts are great and at the top of their game, we had a great (but too short) time.

This stay in Saint-Fort was really perfect. The location of the house has everything of a little corner of paradise. The house is exceptional, very well suited to a large number of travelers. The view from the house of the estuary is beautiful. We had a lovely weekend in this place. The communication, hospitality and responsiveness of our hosts were excellent. Thank you! We had a lovely time staying at Eric and Fabianne’s beautiful guest house. The riverside setting is idyllic, and we loved the picturesque rural surroundings and historic towns. Our hosts had everything on hand for our baby son and he had a very happy stay. The setting balances tranquility with easy access to shops and restaurants by car. It’s an ideal hub to explore Bordeaux. Huge thanks to our wonderful hosts.

Like home 😊 The perfect place to feel comfortable in Montalivet and discover everything on foot - beaches, market, restaurants, shops, pharmacy - everything. We were lucky and were able to stay longer than planned (12 instead of 7 days) in the accommodation of Claire and François - everything as described, just perfect for my wife, our son and me. Claire is a fantastic host who proactively gives valuable tips, takes time and always responds and helps quickly. It doesn't get any better 😊 Thank you both 🙏🤙😊 We'll be back 😊

Fabulous stay at Le Petit Source. Wonderful house, grounds and pool. The pool in particular was amazing - warm, beautifully done, perfectly situated and huge for a private pool. The house was extremely well equipped with many little extras you wouldn't expect. Jane and Paul were fantastic hosts. Highly recommend.

Welcoming, comfortable and quiet place. Close to all the tourist areas of the surroundings, Royan, St Georges, Merschers, Marennes and this train des mouettes that leaves from Saujon and goes to La Tremblade. We recommend it in a second.
