100-year-old log cabin

A 100-year-old rebuilt log sauna cabin in the tranquility of the countryside. A good night's sleep is guaranteed by a futon mattress and the opportunity to enjoy the sauna in the warmth of the wood stove while admiring the lake from the landscape window, in the summer you swim in the clean-watered lake, in the winter you jump into a refreshing ice hole. You wash with water heated with a traditional bucket. The needs are done in the outdoor toilet. There is no rush here, but the rest of the world is forgotten. Still, only a half-hour drive from the city's services.

Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

Tämä perinteinen hirsimökki tarjoaa rauhallisen piilopaikan aivan järven rannalla. Paksuista hirsistä käsin veistetty mökki huokuu rauhaa. Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Log cabin on the shore of Lake Saimaa

Käsinveistetty 1995 valmistunut 100m2 hirsimökki Saimaan rannalla. Rauhallinen miljöö vain muutaman minuutin ajomatkan päässä Varkauden keskustan palveluista. Kohde sopii hyvin niin viikonlopun rentoutumiseen, kuin pidempäänkin oleskeluun. Perus mukavuudet ja välineet ruuanlaittoon. Mökin yhteydessä erittäin tilava puulämmiteinen sauna. Pihalla oleva kota sekä grillikatos vapaassa käytössä. Mökki sopii ympärivuotiseen oleskeluun, mutta sydäntalvella kannattaa varata villasukat matkaan :)
