At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

Definitely one of my favorite Airbnbs in the world! The view of the room is spectacular. The apartment is very well equipped with what you need for cooking (since we did use the kitchen). It has parking a few meters from the place and an unbeatable view. We used the jacuzzi, which also worked 100%. The place is ideal for disconnecting as it feels like being inside the mountain. The arrival was very easy thanks to the communication with the host. I'm delighted, I'd come back a thousand times.

Casa Alberto was full and exceeded our expectations. At the beginning we had a problem, but it was my mistake at the time of booking. It was with Manuel that I maintained communication and from the beginning he sought to give us a solution in a very kind way. Alberto was always attentive to our stay at home and the communication was 10 out of 10!! The house is simply BEAUTIFUL!! We found order and cleanliness in each area, all as described and shown in the photos. My family and I felt very comfortable. As I said at the beginning, it exceeded our expectations and if we can, I'm sure we'll be back.

This trip was a commitment and because of that I needed a place to spend the night that was central. But I found a hidden and super cozy beauty. Ricardo was very kind, if you really want to disconnect for a moment and surround yourself with a lot of nature and tranquility, this is a perfect place. The only thing missing from my trip was time to stay here longer! It really is a unique place and the town is well worth it. Thank you very much for everything! I'm looking forward to returning soon.
