Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kaikoura District

We loved the peaceful area, absolutely breathtaking views, outdoor tub and unreal sunrises from the cabin. We loved unplugging, quick trips to check the surf and the slow comfort of the space. Fantails came to visit daily and the stargazing was awesome. Truly a special space and we hope to return someday!

Great place to stay in Kaikōura! Steps from the beach and Esplanade. Night sky was amazing; we could see everything there is to see. Comfy place with a kitchen, which was great to have. The host was very friendly and helpful when we had to check in late, leaving on the light and heat for us. The shower is not the best for tall folks, but plenty of hot water! Overall a fantastic option and we'd definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

Our stay at Captain Luigi’s was excellent. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The location is perfect - just a short walk to town, the beach, and all the main attractions. My daughter loved the big backyard, and I appreciated how well-equipped and newly renovated everything was. It made a great base for exploring Kaikōura. Would definitely recommend!

WOW is all we could say as we walked into this beautiful home - the photos did not do it justice - the views are breathtaking. The home was so very peaceful, clean and tidy, and warm - with a fabulous kitchen Whilst the bed is a bit small for 2 people, it is comfy - we like a firm bed Lovely walks, the town is about 5mins drive. Fabulous pub 5 mins walk away (Pier House) We will definitely recommend this place to our friends Keina's home fits in exactly with the magical Kaikoura vibe THANKS AGAIN Keina - amazing place to stay - we'll be back

Have stayed here twice and would stay again!

We travelled from Christchurch to Kaikoura and had the best stay at The Pink Palace. Super clean and comfortable. Had everything that we needed for a stress free family getaway with thoughtful touches. James is an awesome host and clear with his comms. Looking forward to staying again. Cheers!

Great place to stay, clean and well presented with comfortable beds, warm and cosy with the fire, and close to all attractions in Kaikora, we had a great time and got some diving in as well.

Of all the places I have stayed this one might be the nicest. Absolutely beautifully decorated with every amenity you could want. The beds were really comfortable with little extras like electric bed warmers and a heater in the bathroom. It was quiet with a spectacular view of the ocean. This is a special place.

Absolutely spectacular in every way! By far the best place we’ve ever stayed in. We had dreadful weather during our stay which meant going out was not an option, but with a place like this it didn’t matter a bit. We were cosy and had everything we needed and watched the waves crash and the wild weather all day long from the amazing big windows. The views are incredible and that’s with limited visibility so can only imagine how stunning they are on a good day! Cannot recommend this place highly enough, we’d love to return one day. Thank you so much ☺️

This apartment opening out onto the beautiful Kaikoura Bay was fantastic. We awoke to a beautiful sunrise both mornings from our bedroom. The apartment was Immaculately presented with attention to detail in all aspects. It boasts quality fittings, towels, linen etc. Proximity to the local picture theater allowed me to nip next door to watch 'Tina' which I thoroughly loved. Walking distance to restraunts. Very, very good value for money.

Thank you Lynette, we really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect spot to watch the sea and easy walking into town. The apartment was super clean and was well equipped for our stay over the Easter weekend. We would be more than happy to come and stay again.

Great location, with a great view of the mountains. Very spacious and comfortable room. Spacious bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower. About a 15 minute drive to see the fur seal colonies on the peninsula. Quiet, lovely to hear the birds in the morning. Wish we had stayed here in Kaikoura for a few more days.

This apartment was perfect. Very luxurious. I was really impressed with the fully decked out kitchen! everything you needed right down to measuring cups etc for baking. lovely spacious rooms. Best shower ever! Even a washing machine and drier in second bathroom. nice outdoor deck with table and chairs. biggest tv ever :) a lift right outside your door as you are 2 stories up.Highly recommended and will be telling friends and family for future stays in Kaikoura.I will definitely be back.
