Relax with a larger family in this quiet lakeside "cottage" with the comforts of a detached house. The house is located on a sunny plot. Beach sauna with wood-burning stove in use all year round, the house also has an electric sauna. The beach sauna dressing room has heating. In summer, if necessary, there is also an electrified outbuilding, with space for 4-5 people. In the area, for example, bear watching services and sale of fishing licenses. Linen is rented separately if necessary. Pets are welcome. Good internet connection.

The sun shines on the cottage beach late into the evening. The beach sauna is located right on the water and the cottage itself is a little higher up on the plot. Inside the cottage, running water, indoor toilet and shower bring a little luxury to your stay. The cottage is equipped with a covered large terrace with views through the forest to the back of the lake.

Lasikaiteinen koko mökin levyinen terassi antaa mahdollisuuden aistia luonnon rauhan niin talvella kuin kesälläkin. Pihalla sijaitsee puuvarasto, nuotiopaikka sekä palju. The Finnish nature is one of our most excellent resources, providing an abundance of beauty and fresh, clean air. This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site. Prices for bear hide tours can be found on the BearCentre website.

Tervetuloa Villa Jaakkolaan! Villa Jaakkola on vuonna 2022 valmistunut hirsihuvila Jokijärvellä, Taivalkoskella. Huvila on tilava ja avara. Alakerrassa on yksi makuuhuone ja tupakeittiö. Parvella on lisäksi reilusti tilaa ja nukkumapaikkoja. Mökille rakennettiin kesällä 2026 uusi rantasauna. Mökistä löytyy kaikki nykyajan mukavuudet ja isoista ikkunoista avautuu kahteen suuntaan mahtava järvimaisema. Takkatulen lämmössä on mukava katsella revontulia ja kuunnella hiljaisuutta. That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.
