Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kalahari Desert

Lovely old colonial property in tyhe 'medical' heartland of Kimbeerley...surrounded by hospitals and specialists! Very friendly staff.

I needed a place for two people to stay and booked this 30 minutes before they would arrive (they decided to stay over at the last moment). I was immediately helped and received such a warm welcome . The effort was really appreciated.

i was very well filled in the house of Aletha. for me, it had the perfect location. i was travelling my car and was able to reach everything needed easily the bed is quite fabulous the car park in the garage The Co host was friendly and helpful the only thing that the sockets are hidden or there is too little of them in the room is unusual

We had a puncture when we were 30km away from the venue and we didn’t have roaming cellphones. As such we couldn’t tell Johan that we were stuck but on arrival at about 23:00 we couldn’t wait even 2 minutes at the gate before they opened for us. In the morning, Johan and his boys tried their best to get us a tyre around but unfortunately the nearest place was Windhoek which was far from Karansburg. Johan is a good man - thanks for your hospitality Johan!

We really enjoyed to sray at Augustus's place. The apartment has everything we needed, even more. Augustus is very kind and helped us with a taxi, atm and sim cards. The building is well secured, so we did not worry about our belongings. The safari car ret is just across the road, so if you need a place to stay before your trip in Namibia, this place is the best you can find.

The apartments are beautiful and we loved our stay in Springbok. It is clean, tidy, quiet and modern. A little extra: there is a restaurant/bar next door, which is convenient and it has good food. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who asks. 10/10.

Very safe apartment , a bit far but worth it to stay for the price

j'avais réservé cet hébergement pour deux de mes collègues ; elles ont été enchanté par leur séjour. Endroit très propre, très agréable, parfait pour une nuit reposante.

Uwe and Karien are very hospitable and accommodating hosts. The rooms are neat and tidy and overall great value. The area is peaceful and quiet with the only swimming pool in Karasburg!

Laurike's communication is great and she is flexible, for example, we could check-in at anytime.

Eine wunderschöne und interessant eingerichtete Unterkunft. Aus einem ehemaligen Theater wurde mit sehr viel Geschmack und Liebe ein Hotel eingerichtet, mit viel Feingefühl und Eigeninitiative. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten mit Grillecke, im Schatten großer Bäume. Alles zum Wohlfühlen findet man hier. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, mit allem was Sie für einen wunderbaren Start in den Tag benötigen. Die Gegend ist sehr sicher und direkt in einen Park intergriert. Parkplatz innerhalb des Hotelgeländes. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen und komme selbst sehr gern wieder hierher.

Wir haben für eine Nacht vor unserem Heimflug diese Unterkunft gebucht. Gastgeberin Merisa ist sehr freundlich und hat uns ein kleines Sandwich zum Mittagessen gemacht - sowohl am Tag der Ankunft wie auch am Tag der Abreise. Dies und auch die restlichen Mahlzeiten haben und sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der Farm-Drive mit Sundowner war informativ. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Just have to agree with all the other glowing reviews - Jacqueline’s place couldn’t be better. So near the highway yet completely in the bush, it was the perfect stop after a late start en route to Etosha. Breakfast was really outstanding as well. We had dinner at her husband’s recommendation at the nearby Okahandja country hotel and it was also great.

Ett underbart ställe som ligger lite avskilt och andas lugn och ro. Discovery har en skön, avslappnad stil och det känns lite som ute i bushen. Det som stack ut var servicen och det personliga bemötandet. Marije tar sig tid med alla gäster och skapar en underbart hemtrevlig atmosfär. Givet val nästa gång vi är i Maun.

Sibylle and her husband were fantastic hosts! Friendly and conversational. The space was beautiful from the design to the artwork. The breakfast was also a delicious bonus. :)
