Saimaa Syli - for peace lovers

When you long for a complete break from everyday life, you can do it here, and everyday things take on a new meaning. A cabin without electricity gives you the opportunity to be present in the here and now. A separate summer kitchen on a cliff with breathtaking views. Gas stove and grill available. Carried water. There is a single bed in the shed. The sauna room has a bunk bed and a pull-out sofa bed. You also have a rowboat and a paddleboard at your disposal. The hot tub can be heated for a separate fee. There is a campfire area on the beach. This property has a lot of stairs and is not suitable for families with children.

Traditional log cabin on the shore of a quiet lake

Relax and enjoy the peace of nature! Two-storey log cabin located on the shore of the lake. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and a utility room. Dishwasher, washing machine and drying cabinet. Downstairs bedroom with a double bed and upstairs rooms with beds for four. Inside toilet. The cabin has a wood-fired sauna, shower room and toilet. Hot water. In the yard, a gas grill, an electric smoker, and a masonry pan. On the beach there is a jetty, rowing boat and canoe. Separately, a SUP board and an electric motor for the boat are also available for rent.

Kangassaari - the kingdom of peace

The views from the cottage on the shore of the large lake Iijärvi open up in every direction. The plot is land-forest based and the beaches are suddenly deepening. A large beach patio and a large jetty bring comfort to the beach and what could be better than jumping from the jetty into the lake in the summer heat while enjoying a sauna. The main building has a living room, kitchenette, dining area, 2 bedrooms, a large loft, a toilet with a shower cabin and a closet. The kitchen has a gas stove and the toilet has an electric toilet seat with a bidet function.

Modern beach studio with a view near the city center

Enjoy a cottage atmosphere in a modern apartment building - the lake is so close that you can hear the sound of the waves on the balcony. The renovated and bright home is located on an island on the shore of clear-water Lake Saimaa, about 2 km from the center. It is easy to get here by car, bus or on foot - you can also get from the beach to the market square in half an hour on a SUP board. The evening sun shines on the balcony, so the temperature in the apartment is pleasant even in hot weather.

Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Smoking and pet free area. Children are wellcome.  Warmly wellcome to our guest!

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Peaceful villa near lake

Villa Leikon – a holiday right next to clean nature and lakes. Cottage accommodates four people. There is room for two to sleep downstairs and two more up in the loft. The detached sauna building also has a spacious bedroom which accommodates two more people. In total six people can comfortably stay. The beach sauna building is nicely attached to the main building with an open terrace. The cottage is surrounded by almost undisturbed nature with enough space for outdoor relaxing.

Villa Saimaa Swan Bay

In a modern cottage on the shores of Lake Saimaa, you can spend your holiday in a great setting. The large windows of the cottage overlook Lake Saimaa. The wood-heated sauna has soft steam and a large landscape window. The sauna has a large terrace area for lounging and cooking (barbecue and smoker). Good opportunities for fishing, berry picking, cycling, golf, skiing, etc. The year-round outdoor hot tub, rowboat, 2 SUP boards and 2 kayaks are freely available to tenants.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Three-bedroom apartment + sauna in the city center

Wonderful aparment in Savonlinna center, surrounded by Lake Saimaa. The apartment has a small sauna, swimming in the lake is possible via stairs in the backyard. Less than 10 min. walk to the market square and city center services, Olavinlinna castle is about 20 min. walk away. Swimming hall (on maintenance break 7.7.-10.8.), Huwila restaurant and beach are very close. The building has a swimming pool that is available outside the reserved sauna hours.

I love my place because of the following: Beautiful nature, tranquility, lake landscape. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (staying with children). Relax and book a hot tub from the additional services. Good fishing opportunities, you can rent a paddle board, a canoe, an electric motor for a rowboat, you can rent a 7-person boat from Savonlinna.
