Holiday rentals with a kayak in Kalmar County

We had a very nice nine day stay at this cottage and were able to enjoy the summer in Sweden. The house is bordered by forest from one side, on the other side is the property of the landlords. Nevertheless, it is not very visible (higher location) and we had our privacy. I liked not being completely secluded in the forest. The nearest shopping in Mariannelund is about 15 minutes away by car. Here we got everything we needed. A beautiful swimming spot (non-swimmer area, toilet) is also not far away. The forest is beautiful. We can recommend a hike to the Övrakulla Sevedeleden observation deck. The view is breathtaking. Vimmerby and the great Astrid Lindgren world is only a 30 minute drive. We found the house very clean and tidy. The kitchen is super equipped. We had a great time with our children (5 and 7 years).

We had some wonderful days at Eva's lovely house, where we enjoyed the rural charm and tranquility. We walked to the nearby lake and bathed, enjoyed the bright summer evenings in the lovely garden, where the kids played football and rocked while we adults enjoyed nature and had cozy moments indoors in the spacious and well-equipped house, where there was plenty of entertainment for all ages. In addition, we went on day trips to Astrid Lindgren's World, Kathultt and Bulderby, all of which were within 25 minutes of driving. We were 10 people: two families with 4 children in total, as well as a set of grandparents and we had so much space! It was really nice that each family unit could have a large room with its own seating where you could retreat if needed for tranquility ☺️

The house is situated right next to the river with beautiful views. Nice rooms, well equipped with a large Smart-TV, nice furniture, a large kitchen and a nice terrace. Good mix between traditional Swedish and modern.

We spent 12 relaxing days in this cozily furnished house with great views of the lake. On the covered terrace, the food tasted particularly good and long game evenings gave us pleasure. The path down to the lake leads through the adjacent forest. Down at the jetty, we used the canoe and our SUPs to simply paddle or fish. The small beach diagonally opposite, which we visited often, was also easy to reach. Sanna and her family were very friendly hosts. We felt very comfortable and had a great time in Småland. Thank you!

We were here with 2 families for 2 weeks in the house and it was a dream. The children could move freely, there was enough space for everyone and the beach is a stone's throw away. The bakery and a restaurant in Stora Rör are within walking distance. Kristina was very nice and always quickly reachable.

The house itself is very well maintained, furnished with love and everything you need. Unfortunately, the house lacks some care and attention to detail, the garden and the trees could use a little more care to our taste, so that it remains an orchard. Maybe there was no guest before us this summer, but we had hoped for a warm welcome around the house during a week's stay. We didn't like the area, it seems very deserted, but maybe it's also a matter of taste.

We spent 3 days and the place is unbeatable, the house is spectacular in location, tranquility, neighbors, views... the perfect house, in fact we will definitely come back. We will definitely be back to this house

Incredibly nice host! Cozy place where there are areas for playing. Was there 2 nights, really nice with a sauna in the evening. Nice with some play for the kids in the form of a slide and swings. IDYLISK location that we'd love to visit again!

Lena's place is as excellent location for all activities around Kalmar. We stayed for the Ironman triathlon and it was a perfect base. The house is clean and well presented containing everything we needed for our time there. She was very kind and allowed my sister in law to park her mobile home in the front yard. Special note: watch your head as the doorways are low!!

We stayed one night at Mathias' place without two grown daughters. The house is a little out of the way, but easy to find and the instructions were very clear. The area is peaceful and the walk around the cape was beautiful at sunset! We cooked dinner and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was as described and communication was easy.

We had a wonderful time in Pers accommodation! Check-in was super easy thanks to the key box and Per was always quick and friendly with all inquiries. The cottage is not big, but that is exactly what makes it charming. You'll find your way around right away and feel right at home. We would recommend the cottage at any time. The countryside in which the cottage is located is beautiful and invites you to hikes, bike rides, to swim, play beach volleyball and unwind. Fresh rolls could be quickly picked up at the campsite. Jens is very quick to respond to questions and also has tips on hand. In fact, there are many brochures in the house with destinations in the area. Children can feel comfortable as there are books, games and toys.

We had a fantastic stay at Eric’s place at Vino. Most beautiful location of our holiday with great sea view and sea front boat house. Quietly located in beautiful surrounding. We had great tours with the private boat discovering the archipelago. The house is small, but convenient. The additional room at the boat house is nicely located. Highly recommended!

I was here with my little son (< 2 years) and we had a great stay! Magnus provided a bicycle for us and was very eager to ensure we had a lovely stay. A very large great playground is within 5 minutes walking distance. Downtown Västervik is also within minutes on foot or by bike. The place is small but has everything you need and was perfectly clean! I would love to book this place again and recommend it.

We have been going to Saleboda for years and have now been to George's house for the first time. The location is a dream and price/performance is unbeatable here. We were always answered quickly and kindly to questions. It was all about a great vacation.

We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. The beautiful nature and the many leisure opportunities have made the holiday particularly relaxing. The sauna house with the hot tube was simply indescribably beautiful in a clear starry sky. Particularly noteworthy is the very personal, fair and fast communication with Julia and Pelle.

Our stay with Emily was great. The house and venue is a little paradise. The house is in a beautiful remote area. Emily is a lovely and friendly host. We and the kids had some awesome days with the kanus, SUP, treehouse, fireplace etc. I definitely recommend this place and we will definitely come back.

We had a great time at the cottage on the lake. The location is really great! Right on the lake, the kids were in the water uninterrupted. You can entertain a lot of great things from there. Vimmerby and surroundings are just around the corner. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back.

We spent five wonderful days in this cozy house and had an amazing time surrounded by peaceful nature. We enjoyed hiking and swimming in nearby lakes and the quiet atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. The sauna next to the house and the spaciousness of the house made it ideal for cooking, relaxing, playing board games and disconnecting from everyday life. Thank you so much for that!! Great place to stay, close to amazing nature for hiking, biking and kayaking.

We had a great time staying at this fantastic place. The cottage is very well equipped & clean. What was particularly great for us was that our dogs could play in their own fenced (huge) property. The surroundings are super nice and you can do a lot of things. We also worked remotely during the stay. Despite the very private location, the Internet also ran smoothly in video calls and the like. :) Hendrik is a very nice, accommodating host and gave us a perfect stay. We will be happy to come back!

Cozy, nice. Great with sauna, swimming in the sea, canoe rental, rowing boat, life jackets. Everything we needed was in the cabin. Comfortable beds. Very guest-friendly reception. We had a great time! Carina
