Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kamloops Lake

Great Hosts Quick to respond to any questions, and always helpful. Their lovely home in Sunpeaks is the perfect location for ski-in/ski-out and quick walk to the village. Exactly what was advertised. We have stayed twice and look forward to more stays in the future.

Wendy's place is so close to the 2 ski lifts where you can easily ski in and out. It has great views of the mountain, a lit hill nearby to go sledding and an easy 10 min walk along a protected path to the main village center. (No need to walk along side the road.) The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need to feel at home. In addition the grill on the back deck is in great working order and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after skiing all day.

Rachel and Yolanda did such a wonderful job communicating and setting the place up for us! The property accommodated 15 of us with plenty of space. The property is beautiful and there were so many fun activities to keep everyone occupied. We all had so much fun and would return in an instant. Thanks so much for being so accommodating!

Geoff was helpful in answering any questions and gave some great recommendations. His place was clean, organized and had everything we needed. Located in the heart of the village to top it all off; it was everything we were looking for. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Thanks for everything!

Lovely chalet with wonderful amenities. Well-stocked kitchen with every appliance required for those who love to cook, comfortable beds, great hot-tub, breath-taking views. Easy ski-out and easy ski-in from the Attridge runs, as well as cross-country trails right out the back door. The house is 3 stories and there is a stair from the garage to get to the front door--once inside, the kitchen and living area on the top floor is lovely, comfortable, and feels like home . Would rent again.

This was the perfect place for a ski weekend! It is ski in/ski out with easy access to the lifts and everything in the village. The condo had everything we needed for a few days. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great 5 night stay. The place was prefect for our two families. The empty basement was awesome for all our ski gear. Would stay again!

Incredible house with all the amenities you could hope for including plenty of beds, private hot tub, gourmet kitchen and pool table. Two families of 4 each fit comfortably with lots of options for lounging and relaxation after long ski days. Quiet neighborhood and ability to ski back to property made it ideal for our group.

We had an amazing stay at Marjories cute little cabin. It was set in a serene location in nature and was very private. It was exactly as described . We would certainly go back some time in future.

What a wonderful opportunity to stay in such a location! I stayed two nights with two dogs, who were able to hang out at the cabin while I attended a golf tournament in the area. Marjorie was able to meet us in town and drive us right up to the cabin.- it’s in a pretty remote location. The cabin is old and rustic, and I appreciated the authenticity She’s kept to the space. I very much appreciated the digital detox It allowed for me for those couple of days. I enjoyed my forest bath and grounding, and reconnecting with the sounds of the forest. The dogs enjoyed so much needed freedom to explore the meadow around the cabin and we ventured down the road on our walks. So many birds, hummingbirds, butterflies, and just a general sense of peace. Just a wonderful opportunity to slow down for a couple of days. Thank you Marjorie!

Excellent time at the cabin, didn't need to bring a thing everything was there and ready to be used. Beautiful surroundings and easy access to the lake if needed.

Six of us (4 adults and 2 kids) just spent 3 nights at Veronika’s condo. The location was very quiet and had easy ski in and ski out options. The condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay and Veronika offered very clear instructions and good communication. We found the sleeping arrangements a little challenging for 6 people (the condo is ideal for sleeping 5 people max) and the use of a ski locker/storage would have been very helpful. But, outside of those two items, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Veronika’s place to anyone who wants a great family ski vacation at Sun Peaks!

Beautiful location. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed to chill out for the week.

The stay at Harold’s place was perfect. We had 7 adults in our party and 5 were visiting from Mexico. And all the amenities you would need. The bottle of wine Harold and Kathy dropped off was a big hit. Thanks again and we highly recommend Harold’s place.

Great place for Sun Peaks Resort skiers, easy ski-in ski-out. Very short drive to the central village for restaurants and shopping. Private hot tub is right there on your balcony. Indoor parking is very nice and heated and steps away from the unit. The ski locker is right outside the unit front door which is very convenient. The kitchen and bar area is spacious and a good central point for hanging out.

Hosts were extremely responsive and made sure everything was going well. We ran out of well water because of the extreme drought and Rob was there immediately to check it and gave us a full refund for the rest of our stay and gave us the option to stay if we wanted. We used refillable water containers from the owner so turned it into a glamping adventure which was awesome. The lake here is gorgeous and there is very easy access across the road to a private spot on the beach. The swimming is excellent and the water is super clean. Property is fun to explore and we really appreciated being able to have the dogs.

We had a great stay at Rahul's home. It was very clean and was a good space for 4 adults. The stand out for all of us were the views. His home has the most incredible perspective of the lake and mountains from both the patio and balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with all types of utensils and glassware which made it very easy to cook any meals we wanted without bringing a bunch of stuff from home. Lots of activity options at the resorts- It was nice to not have to commute everyday. He was responsive and attentive to any questions/needs we had leading up to and during our stay. The most organized and communicative host any of us have had on Airbnb. The beach on site was quite small and very rocky with a small parking lot. Would recommend getting down there early in the day in order to get a spot on the beach and in the parking lot. The driveway at the home was also very small which made it difficult to park any of our vehicles.

Was a beautiful location out of town and a great place to stay at. Had everything you needed with stunning views, private amenities and a local market. Thanks for the great stay and a much needed vacation

Great location for a relaxing few days

I came from Ontario to spend Mother’s Day weekend with my daughter and her boyfriend who live in Kelowna and my son who came down from Whistler. We had a great visit, the cottage was comfortable, we did a lot of walking around the resort. We had a couple of good rounds of mini-golf too! 😀 The morning sunrises were beautiful!

Nermin's property was beautiful, well-kept. The pool was a huge hit with our girls as they had hours of fun swimming and playing. She was always willing to help and was such a kind person. she offered and made us the most delicious pizza that we all devoured. She was interesting to speak with about her travels and life, and her dog Rollo kept us from being too homesick for our dogs. We had an excellent experience and would be happy to return again next summer. We highly recommend this great spot.

We really enjoyed our 10-day stay. It was down time with our daughters after a busy season. The location worked well for us and our various activities. The unit was well appointed inside and out and had everything we could want/need. The highlight was the roof terrace; we spent most of our 'at home' time there: coffee in the morning, reading in the loungers, BBQ in the evening, plus it allowed us to easily receive & entertain friends. One friend who lives nearby said she wanted to recommend the condo to her visiting friends/family. We were often on the lake with SUPs or boat but appreciated the pool and hot tub on a cool/windy afternoon. Thank you for making the whole trip so easy. Kate

As always Angela's place is perfect. The location is just ideal and the condo building is beautiful. Angela is always so accommodating and her condo has everything you need. Very quiet and relaxing location and building. Hot tub is an absolute bonus.

We had a short stay but we loved the views and felt very comfortable with how much room we had. We'll be looking for this again next time we are in town!
