Brent & Jean's Grain Bin Inn (Barn)

This one bedroom Grain Bin converted to a tiny home in the heart of the Midwest, has all of the comforts of home! You have the entire bin to yourself, complete with a kitchenette, full bathroom. You will have to be able to climb stairs to get to the main bed, but there is a futon on the main level. The exterior faces the corral where our cattle and horse may sometimes be, and free range chickens that may roam toward you, especially if they think you have food. We may eventually add more animals!

The Roost

1930's Limestone chicken house converted to a cabin. 1/4 mile off a paved highway. Interior space is 46 feet x 11 feet, with sloping ceiling. Tiled shower with built in seat.(No tub.) Fully appointed kitchen. Beautiful views of the Smoky Hills. Several acres of native grassland with running stream to explore. Deer, turkey, bird watching, and other wildlife. If you are going walking, wear appropriate footwear. See the stars without city lights and enjoy the unbelievable quiet.

#3 - North Fork Horse Ranch - White Room

White Room #3 has the rustic feel of being on the prairie of western Kansas, but it also has the cozy feel of a Tiny Home. This room sleeps up to five people with a king sized bed, a day bed, two pull out mattresses, a sofa, and a loveseat. It has a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, an LED TV with Netflix, and a full bathroom. The height of the bedroom side is 5’4, but obviously that is the side where people will lay down, and the height of the kitchen and bathroom side is 7’0.

Smith's Horse Barn

Our little remolded barn is a 100 years old and was used for the horses. We had to choose between tearing it down or totally renovating it. My husband, Laurel did not want the barn destroyed and so the great adventure of restoring a barn began. It has taken 3 years and a lot of very hard work, but we are ready for guests! The Horse Barn has a full kitchen, bathroom, and living room on the main floor. A spiral staircase takes you to the old hay loft which is now the bedroom.

The Red Barn

Located on the outskirts of town you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of rolling wheat fields while you enjoy your favorite drink on the patio. A short drive west will put you in the heart of downtown Cheney. While a 20 min drive East lands you in Wichita where you’ll find shopping, dining end entertainment.
