This wonderful duplex lakeside row house home is located 30 km from Tampere city centre and Tampere-Pirkkala airport. It's 30 minutes by car and 30-45 minutes by bus. If you are coming from Helsinki, the buses come straight from Helsinki-Vantaa airport to here in about 2 hours. If you will come from Turku, we advice you to rent a car. From Turku you'll get here in about two hours by car. Amenities include two bathrooms, a sauna and two terraces. The upper terrace is rain proof covered. You can swim or row by our rowing boat in the nearby like (within 30 metres). We have two bicycles, which you can use, if you want to make acquaintance e.g. the historical Sääksmäki village (http://www.saaksmaki-seura.fi/saaksmaki/kuvagalleria/). Nearest grocery store is about 1 kilometer, Valkeakoski town centre 3 kilometers, big shopping centre Ideapark 15 kilometres, Tampere City centre and Tampere-Pirkkala airport 30 kilometres away from the house. Nearest bus stop is 500 metres away from the house. Buses go about every 1 hour to Tampere (30 km) and Helsinki (145 km) around the clock. We have 100 mbps WiFi, cable tv and dvd-player. Great opportunity to feel the quiet finnish nature within 30 minutes car / bus drive from Tampere city centre!

Heritage House, a lakefront home

A waterfront, city-side getaway. Conveniently, located, 11km (15min) from Hämeenlinna city and 5.5km (8min) from Hattula town. The waterfront is the Vanaja waterway extending from Hämeenlinna to Tampere (length about 80 km ). Nearby, 7 km (10 min) is the famous Aulanko Nature Preserve. This national monument houses a golf-course and spa. One of the main tourist attractions of southern Finland, is the Medieval Hame castle, constructed in the 13th century. It is 12 km (15 minutes) from the venue.

Metsola

It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful retreat. You can enjoy the good steam of the wood stove. Nearby is the municipality maintained Kotkannokka lean-to, about 500m from the cottage, the route takes the cottage from the backyard to the shore of Kaukjärvi with a steep descent to the shore of Kaukjärvi. There are many bodies of water in Tammela, among others, Pyhäjärvi and Kuivajärvi. The island folk park is a nice hiking destination. Downtown about 1km with shop and restaurant.

My place is an atmospheric old vintage cottage on top of a scenic ridge. You can hang out in your own yard with a patio and a barbecue canopy. Kitchen, living room, and indoor toilet. The outbuilding has a wood sauna with a shower room, there is no separate bathroom. The sauna chamber has 2 beds for 1 person. Running hot water and drains. Heating with air source heat pumps + a furnace in the winter. Refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and mini stove with oven. Pets are welcome.

Sauna cabin on a lake shore in Häme

Cozy and modern sauna cottage by the lake in Hämeenlinna. The cabin has a kitchenette, where there are sleeping places for 2-3 people (2 adults + child). The best part of our summer paradise is the big sauna, with a window to the evening sun. There is a composting toilet in the outbuilding. The cottage has hot water and underfloor heating. You can jump from the dock for a swim, depth about 2m. Bring your own bedding and towels.

Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
