You will arrive to ready-made beds, as well as towels. I'll take care of the house cleaning when you check out. But remember to wash the dishes. The cabin consists of a living room/kitchen with sofa bed (140 cm) as well as a large bedroom with a continental bed (180 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm). There is an outhouse, as well as a shower in the form of a bath in Randsfjorden. Welcome!

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. Settle down and enjoy extra space in the old farmhouse here at Øvre Gjestvang. The house is located on a farm, with full farm operations. The house is large and spacious, and is located with a lovely view over Mjøsa. By car it is about 1 hour to Lillehammer, 50 min to Gjøvik, 30 min to Hamar and about 20 min to Brumunddal. Drive away to Hunderfossen, Hafjell or other attractions! Hoel farm about 5 min away by car Many hiking possibilities nearby and a little further away! We warmly welcome you to us and Nes!

The boys' room at Båkinn farm

We have renovated the old boys' room on the farm, and rent it out for short and longer stays. Pilgrims get an extra discount, contact us directly by texting 97786500. The place is best suited for 2 adults, or a family with 2 smaller children. The house is located in the courtyard, but still shielded. There is a short walking distance to Mjøsa, you can stroll down in 5 minutes. There you can swim. The Pilgrim's Way goes right past the yard, and there are many other nice hiking opportunities by bike and on foot.
