Amazing how this place can have so little reviews ! This place is just wonderful and feels like a fairy tail. You are literally staying in the Water Palace in an house which belonged to the old quarters of the king. Extremely impressive, with full blown view over the palace from the pool and both levels of the house. You can wander day and night freely from the house in the gardens of the Palace. Several nice restaurants in the Palace and neighbourhood. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Please go there and enjoy !

Ich hatte eine super Zeit bei Made, die Unterkunft war sehr geräumig und man hatte einen super Ausblick vom Balkon aus auf Meer, vor allem morgens zum Sonnenaufgang war es traumhaft. Die Umgebung ist Super viele interessante Shops und gute Restaurants. Das Meer ist quasi vor der Tür und viele Tauch und Schnorcheln Anbieter sind gleich in der Nähe. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas abgeschieden, aber wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Ausblick. Man konnte direkt auf die Reisfelder schauen und hatte einen sehr ruhigen Ort. Da man abseits von Restaurants und Warung war, bestellten wir etwas zu essen, was aber auch super geklappt hat. Man beachte auch, dass man dort nicht so spontan abgeholt werden kann aufgrund der Lage. Wir würden wieder kommen und empfehlen diese Unterkunft.

Wow, was für eine herzliche Familie. Die Eltern, die Kinder, Großeltern, sogar der Hund ... Es sind die freundlichesten, liebenswertesten und hilfsbereitesten Gastgeber und Balinesen, die wir auf Bali getroffen haben. Wir sind dankbar für den schönen authentischen gemeinsamen Abend und den offenen Austausch über das balinesische Leben. Sie haben uns unterstützt bei Erkrankung, sogar als wir schon in der nächsten Unterkunft waren. Nice to know: - ⁠Massagen daheim möglich oder im Spa von Kadek, der Mama der Familie - Ein Strand ist fußläufig in 3 min erreichbar, zum Lipah Beach sind es mit dem Roller ca. 5 min - Tolles Warung um die Ecke - Unterkunft abseits der Straße, kein Straßenlärm und damit idyllisch ruhig (neben den typischen Tiergeräuschen auf Bali wie krähende Hähne und bellende Hunde) Wir vermissen Ketut und seine Familie jetzt schon. Wenn wir wieder auf Bali sind, kommen wir definitiv wieder zurück. Diese Unterkunft ist eine echte Herzensempfehlung! Danke für Alles!

Our family of four enjoyed staying in Villa Light very much. We liked three isolated bedrooms with own bathrooms, open terrace, swimming pool with sun beds and massage area upstairs with beautiful view. The location itself was very good for us - close to the beach and to a very nice cafe "Good Staff" and at the same time in a very quiet place at the edge of Amed. We were able either to walk by feet in the surroundings or to drive from 15 to 30 minutes to Jemeluk, Lipah and other wonderful beaches for diving and snorkeling. The staff team was always ready to help with any questions. Twise we've got the Balinese massage at the villa, that was great!

Words can’t describe the beauty of this property. It is an absolute gem. We had the whole resort by ourselves and it was like owning a piece of paradise for couple of days. Only sounds you could hear is waves , birds and local faunas. Staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home - Sudama, Martha, Chris and everyone else were super friendly and genuine . No request was difficult, whether you want to rent a bike or have dinner according to your dietary requirements. Last but not least- huge thanks to Mey and Corentin for managing this absolute gem. Can’t wait to visit this place again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Gyönyörű a szállás. A fürdőszoba elképesztő, hogy kint van a természetben. A személyzet minden tagja nagyon kedves. Elsőre kicsit nehéz megtalálni a bejáratot, de ebben is azonnal segítséget kaptunk. Szívből ajánlom ezt a hotelt.

Wunderschöne Umgebung und jedes Fenster bietet eine tolle Aussicht. Ist schön privat, obwohl hin und wieder Reisarbeiter auf dem Feld sind und dort arbeiten fühlt man sich nicht gestört. Jederzeit wieder!

A beautiful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Amed was quite a quiet place, but there are some restaurants and cafes nearby. A few things to bear in mind – the bathroom is outdoors which is cool, but may mean seeing some creepy-crawlies. Also, the Villas do not seem to be named on maps yet, so taxi drivers may have trouble finding it. Overall, we loved our stay here. Would definitely stay again!

Le logement est juste magnifique ! Le coin paisible tranquille et intime, l’équipe est très sympa et accueillante, prête à tout pour vous satisfaire, et les service impeccable ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, seul petit bémol mais qui reste quand même top c’est la nourriture que l’on peu vous servir directement dans le logement le soir, ce n’est pas la meilleur que j’ai vue mais reste bonne. Et un tas d’excellent restaurant ce trouve à quelque minutes de scooter. Je recommande vraiment ce logement pour des vacances en paix dans la nature

Loved this villa! It's huge, the kitchen has everything you need, and the host is super helpful and replies quickly. The rooms were spotless. Finding the place was a breeze and easy to get to by car. The beach is right there and so chill – perfect for relaxing. The villa itself is quiet and felt really safe. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to my friends. Nous avons passé une nuit à la Villa Atta. Ce fut un plaisir. C’est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et être au calme. Un service de transport gratuit est proposé pour aller au restaurant. Totalement conforme à la description. Je recommande ce logement !

The photos and description of Bukit Temawang do not do it justice. It far exceeded any possible expectations. It is a truly incredible villa with breathtaking views and the kindest hosts/staff. Dede, Kadek, Asti, and Nita are the most wonderful people, and they made our stay absolutely magnificent. The villa, farm, and views are gorgeous and amazingly peaceful. If you are able to stay at Bukit Temawang, do it - I promise you won’t regret it. The most amazing place I’ve stayed.

La villa est incroyable ! c'est celle qui a fait l'unanimité dans ma famille.(nous étions 5, avec mes trois grands enfants). elle est immense et extrêmement bien meublée. les lits sont bons , tout est impeccable. Le personnel est charmant et agréable. toujours souriant. A proximité il y a une plage et un warung( en sortant à droite) qui propose des menus vraiment pas cher, et qui livre dans la villa. il y a également des SPA tout de suite à la sortie de la villa. Mais ce qui fait la différence également c'est la disponibilité des hôtes. ils ont été toujours disponibles pour me renseigner et pour me rassurer. Ils ont fait pour nous bien plus que n'importe quel hôte sur airbnb. Par exemple nous revenions de Gilli et ils ont organisé le transfert à la villa, également à la fin ils ont organisé le transfert à l'aéroport. les échanges sont très cordiaux, ils sont adorables. Bali me manque déjà, et si je reviens probablement que je louerai de nouveau cette villa. Merci pour tout

I have been to many luxury hotels in Bali but this stay exceeded my greatest expectations! It cannot be described, it simply has to be experienced! I was speechless and for 3 days I could hardly eat from the excitement. The best experience in Bali! it will be very difficult to top this place and my delight! My family and I had a wonderful stay at this villa. Asri was an amazing host — very responsive and helpful with all our questions. Asri even recommended a massage therapist (Anik and her friend), who were absolutely exceptional and made our stay even more relaxing. The villa itself is beautiful and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. It overlooks stunning rice fields, which made for the most calming views. The whole place has a lovely traditional charm, with a lush garden that adds to its serene atmosphere. Kadek from the villa staff was also very sweet and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, authentic, and scenic getaway!

I had the pleasure of staying in the princess villa , and it was nothing short of amazing, the bugs didn’t bother me at all , it was so peaceful the staff was friendly and always on point if I needed anything and fast too lol thank you for the great stay !🖤

Wow! What a lovely experience we had with the friendly locals. The place was as described and the host was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking to immerse yourself in the culture. It is an easy 20-minute drive to the ferry at Padang Bai.
