This was a wonderful stay for us, the house is very cosy and nice, it's a quiet place where you can really rest. Daria and her husband were great hosts, the communication went swiftly. We would gladly stay in Dorina hiža anytime.

What a spectacular experience in every sense of the word. The hospitality, the scenery, the details in design, construction and functionality, the sights and sounds of nature. I could go on and on. Martin and his dad were so helpful and treated us like long lost friends. The cottage is so charming and warm and cozy. We will always remember our stay at Bistrica Cottage. Just go and experience this little slice of heaven.

First of all, we would like to thank Marko very much for the good service and fast, friendly communication! We have completely relaxed in the spacious, nicely furnished house. It's even better than in the photos, we felt like home. Recommended!

Jelena is a fantastic, responsive and very friendly host. Her place is fantastic in location, cleanliness and amenities. The house is literally the last on the road in the valley and therefore very secluded. Our family (two kids) enjoyed especially the outside area with the roofed patio with Croatian oven/bbq, outside kitchen, hot pot and playground. Heating and outside amenities are powered by natural wood with plentiful supply. This is also needed, because you get power cuts occasionally due to the remote location and old power network (not Jelena’s fault). The environment is green and peaceful, with a nice little creek running by the house. You can start walking or hiking directly from the house. The neighborhood is local and small but very friendly. It’s easy to get in contact and you can get local homegrown or homemade food from them. All in all it’s definitely a recommendation. All of us had a fantastic time and I personally had one of the most relaxing holidays for a long time!

Petar was super flexible and welcomed us very warmly with a drink. The house is charming with a great big table on the private terrasse. The 2 bedroom apartment is super convenient, big and very clean, new sheets, kitchen equipped with all you need to cook!

Checking in and out was very easy. The place is very peacfull and quiet we spent two days and we didn't even meet a single person although there were nice furry guests 🙂 House is comfortable and has all needed amenties. Very good communication with host. Thank you!!!

My friends and I loved our vacation at this little cottage in Croatia. The place was even more beautiful and comfy than on the website, and we had a great time even though it was raining a lot. The lake was nice and very natural with almost no people in or around it! Everything in the house was functional, clean and in good condition! The only disappointing thing was, that there was no WiFi available, even though it is advertised on the website! Other than that, everything was perfect, the host was super nice and cooperative!

Miljenko’s Airbnb is the place to be if you are looking for a quiet getaway close to nature. It’s in an area of wineries, forests and a National Park (Zumbarek) close by. You can just walk out of the house into the vineyards or forest, and we did some wonderful evening walks during sunset. We traveled with our dog and she loved the space around the house to run and play. It is not fenced off, but we brought a long line to make sure our furry friend didn’t get lost chasing rabbits. A village with supermarkets and restaurants is a 15 min ride. Miljenko is a super responsive host, who kindly checked in with us over the phone to see if everything was alright.

We only stayed for one night, but everything is great! When we arrived, the oven was even on and it was pleasantly warm :-) Thanks again!

Vedran's house was exactly how it was described. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in nature, away from busy and crowded places you're on the right place. Your own sauna and jacuzzi is a great bonus. Cheers, Daniel

Cozy and cute little place in a lovely location

We had a peaceful stay. The location is quiet and private. Perfect for couples.

Everything was wonderful. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and backyard is lovely for sunbathing. Our dog loved it as well. The only thing that caught me by surprise is that the owners came knocking unannounced after my self check-in, so maybe communicating the exact time to come and collect ID information from guests would be better, since we all value our privacy. The owner was very nice, and also brought us some cakes as a welcome, and gave us helpful information about Plitvice. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would come back again!

Place to "recharge batteries" :) Beautiful nature, pool and peace. Anja is a communicative and helpful hostess. There are potentially missing mosquito screens that it can cool off in the evening, because it gets too hot. Everything else was okay.

We had a wonderful time and we would definitely recommend. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and the place was comfortable and clean. The canoe was a nice bonus and we truly enjoyed our adventure with it upstream. The elderly woman who lives upstairs was very sweet and friendly.
