Gamla Gefle

Spacious, homely apartment, about 80 sqm, with private entrance and a cozy little patio with possibility for barbecue. The apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom and is secluded in the soothers' part of my own villa in Gamla Gefle. The area is a quiet oasis with cobblestone streets, but just a stone's throw away from restaurants, entertainment, grocery stores and museum. It is a ten minute walk both to the train station and to the beautiful, scenic Boulognerskogen where there is a swimming area, mini golf, outdoor gym.

The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Welcome to our guesthouse in the cottage area Hästhagen at lake Öjaren. A couple of minutes from Högbo Bruk with nice cross-country skiing, mountain bike arena, golf courses, canoe rental, paddle etc. 25 minutes from Kungsberget ski and bike facility. Walking distance to lake for swimming and fishing. 1 km to Gästrikeleden with nice hiking and many miles of bike trails. In winter 5 km skating rink on the lake in a few minutes walking distance.

10 min walking distance from the sea. 1 café, 1 restaurant open during the summer and weekends. 2-3 minute walk to bus stop. 10 minutes by car to golfcourse (with restaurant). Cyclepath all the way in to Gävle city. Towels and cleaning is included in price. Parking in the yard. Pets are welcome but not in the beds. Beds are ready when you arrive.
