Dyrøy Holiday - Lodge at the end of the road

Our cabin is situated in calm and lush surroundings at the end of the road on the island of Dyrøy. The island is sheltered from the open ocean by Senja. The legend tells that the famous Norwegian Viking chief Tore Hund (“Thor the Hound”) had his reindeer on the island and from that time the island is called Dyrøy - the animal island. Unique panorama – Senja

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside. Dyrøya Artist Villa offers tranquility and stunning nature overlooking the sea and mountains. In the winter you can go skiing or snowshoeing, and in the summer you can go hiking to fishing waters or heights with 360-degree views. In addition, it is only a 5-minute walk to the sea. Dyrøya Artists' Villa can be rented during periods when we do not have artists on residency. During these periods, everyone is very welcome to rent.

Homely "barn" between fjord and mountains.

Surrounded by dramatic mountains and oceans, Andørja is the most mountaineous island of Northern Europe. Mighty peaks shoot straight up from the sea. Few places are the landscape more conspicious than at Laupstad, where our farmhouse lies just between the sandy beach and mountains. We welcome singles, couples and families of every nationality! Fishing trips is possible. The midnight sun is best experienced by boat after all.
