great place to stay, especially if you want to be away from the hustle of the city - yet want to be able to get to it easily - as there is train 35mins from shibuya and other areas Host was very helpful, I panicked because I was not able to navigate the lock but they helped me get very quickly Place was neat and I love the tatami and futon is so comfortable- while food choices of restaurants may be limited - convenience stores are walking distance I would have loved to stay here for longer, especially to unwind and explore areas this area and further away from the crowded cities

i came here for our 3rd anniversary trip with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved this place!! we highly recommend it for its awesome location right next to a 7/11 for late night munchies and lots of other good bakeries and restaurants. it’s also a super short walk to the train station and it’s a quick trip to central tokyo via the express train. the place was spotless and beautiful. one of my favorite spots is in that little nook above the entrance that i’ll miss so much along with the massive windows. the hosts are super sweet and kind and made our stay till the very end extremely easy and enjoyable. my most memorable stay so far!

Excellent location, although it was my first time in Tokyo I didn’t have problems going around thanks to the train station very close by. Comfortable place if you’re going to be out a lot. Very quick responding host appreciated the help when communicating would stay again if available.

Aiko was such a wonderful host! We had mini snacks waiting for us upon arrival & she made sure to answer all of our questions quickly. Keep in mind that the airbnb is about 30-40 minutes away from Shibuya and Shinjuku but it’s easy to get there because there’s a train station about 4 mins from the AirBnB! We also recommend having breakfast at Blau Espresso. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the AirBnB but so delicious!

The stay here was peaceful and we had everything we needed here. Host was very responsive. A quiet neighborhood so that is the expectation at night. Great to have washing in unit for use!

The room is well-equipped. It includes all the things you’ll need and the amenities are clean and well-preserved. The location is very convenient, one-minute walk to the station and there is a supermarket nearby which sells food cheaper than the markets in the city center. The owner provides clear instructions and pictures, easy to check in. But note that there is no elevator. Overall the place is clean and comfortable. The price for stay was also reasonable! My wife and I have been trying to get a chance to visit Japan for the last ten years, and when we finally got the ability to, Asama helped us start off the trip wonderfully. Her house was comfortable and easy to find, and was very homey stay in. She offered home cooked meals for breakfast, which were absolutely fantastic. We got to sit and chat with her many times and shared stories about where we were from and our travels. She recommended many places for us to go locally, which was very helpful. Overall, Asama was a wonderful hostess and was absolutely one of the best parts of our trip so far. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone visiting the area to stay. 10/10.

Booked the room right next door for my mom while she was in Tokyo with us. We love staying in Oshiage, it’s a good neighborhood and there is shopping and dining nearby. Also very close to the Oshiage station which can be directly accessed from Haneda airport and Narita airport.

Great neighbourhood! Wonderful, cozy, and quite home for 2-3 people (max). At first it appeared too small (welcome to Japan for the first time) but within the next day we started to feel at a comfortable, cozy home. we checked in at 230am and it was flexible and comfortable. Pearl was very helpful in local recommendations and provided clear instructions for a comfortable stay. The locality is wonderful, authentic, and homely! love the train station vibes on slow afternoons. it has everything you need! Thank you Pearl for a wonderful stay 😊

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

We had a lovely stay at this cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood near Gotanno Station. The room isn’t big, but it truly felt like home. It had everything we needed, from a kitchen and washing machine to thoughtful touches like a first aid kit and in-room baggage storage. The area is peaceful yet super convenient, with several convenience stores and a large supermarket nearby. Gotanno Station is just a short 3–5 minute walk away and offers a direct line to Ueno, with easy transfers to other major lines. The host and co-host were incredibly responsive and helpful, especially with local recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again if we get the chance! Eric is a nice host and he provided a comfortable room. I highly recommend his airbnb because of the supplies that are available in the hotel and the peaceful streets.
