The windows have been scraped off for paint and repainted with linseed oil paint. We have preserved so much of the old from the house and recycled kitchen cabinets partially, benches and panels from Vesterø church etc. The previous owner's things are also reused, especially pictures. There are 4 new good beds. TV works with cromecast Wifi is without code There's a key box by the door. You'll get the code the day you arrive.

Close to the large forest area at Gjorslev Manor is "Bakkeskov", which is a beautiful and cozy 4-wing farm. The guest house is in the original barn building, which, after a thorough renovation, has achieved a fantastic transformation. Visible beams and idyllic stable windows preserve the authentic look of a former barn. In the 78 m2, there is both a cozy sleeping area with a double bed /B:180 cm, as well as an open kitchen-living room environment, as well as a modern bathroom with shower.

Skævinge, the old henhouse in rural surroundings

We have renovated the old hen house into a small cozy annex. The house has one room and is located on its own on our small country estate, and we have 12 hens and a rooster that graze freely on the plot in front of the house. The farm is originally from 1914 and is surrounded by fields and overlooking the Strø Mountains. On the property you will also find our café and farm shop, which sells coffee, cake, sandwiches, brunch, etc. Opening hours Friday-Sunday 10 am - 5 pm

Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, induction stovetop, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room there is a smart TV. Upstairs, there was a carpentry workshop that is now a modern TV room with Wi-Fi, amplifier, Chromecast, speaker system and projector. The shower is in the basement. The balcony facing the sheep meadow has garden furniture and a spa bath. Wood stove in the kitchen. Sauna is available.

The guest apartment is located in the barn at our farm in Stigfjorden Nature Reserve. You see the open landscape with fields and farms, behind mountains and forests to walk in. Nearest bath is 1 km. The silence is significant even during the summer period. To Skärhamn 12 km, Pilane Art 8 km and to Sundsby manor 7 km. The kitchenette is for simpler meals, a grill is available and space to sit outside even when it's raining. Children and pets are welcome.
