Waterfront holiday rentals in Kauai

If you want to have a true Hawaiian experience; you should stay at this place. Absolutely amazing views, the sea just outside your house. The apartment is well equipped and so wonderful decorated. At arrival there were some snacks and candy on the table. 😃 We enjoyed the XL balcony in the morning, enjoying the view with a cup of coffee ( coffee and tea is also provided ). And we liked it so much that there are no windows ( except the doors to the terrace) it’s all shades so you experience the ocean breeze in the house. Shower is great. Parking in front of the building. Shops and restaurants at walking distance. We are definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Greg’s place was absolutely incredible and I wish we stayed there way longer than what we did. The location is perfect, the place itself was perfect! His place had literally everything that we needed and don’t even get me started on the views. You get views from the front and the back. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come back to Hawaii 1000%!

This place was brilliant! I was on vacation in Princeville w/ mom and dad, and this place was exactly what we needed. It was a <10 minute drive from Hanali bay, restaurants, beaches, Hāʻena park shuttle stop. The AirBnB had a nice kitchen w/ enough cooking material to make dinner/breakfast and save a few bucks while visiting the island. We had a nice view of the ocean, and a few hidden trails near our place. Parking was hella easy. I'm def returning to the island, and if the lord be blessed, this AirBnB will be available for booking. :) Shout out to Brooke for communicating recs to us, for being so responsive, and kind throughout our trip.

We’ve stayed in Baby’s Beach area and Koloa before but never at Kuhio Shores. We really enjoyed location and the unit! The stove wasn’t working properly so that was a bummer as it disrupted a couple meals we planned to make but they were very responsive and came to unit to assess situation. We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. The condo had everything we needed and all that you’d need to have a great beach day (snorkels, umbrella, chairs, towels, etc). Easy check in and free parking. The facility across the road for a pool, outdoor gym, etc., was a nice touch and something we enjoyed utilizing. 10 min walk to the beach and a cute area for dinner, we recommend Keoki’s paradise for drinks. A 5 minute walk to a great breakfast cafe, little fish. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and tidy. The ocean view was amazing with the sunrise. The balcony was a great place to enjoy the view and people watch.

I don’t think we could have picked a better place to stay on our honeymoon than Aloha Kai. Jon’s place is modern and immaculate with a homey feel and all the amenities you could ask for. He is a responsive host and it was apparent he wanted us to have a memorable stay. Kapaa is an excellent area with lots of great restaurants and shops in walking distance yet not overly crowded. My wife and I can’t wait to return! 10/10 would recommend Jon’s Aloha Kai paradise!

Fantastic spot in Princeville. Can’t beat the views. Spent a lot of time on the balcony - starting and ending our days there. Enjoyed the pool as well. Would rent here again.

Hands down our best Airbnb experience ever, the house is better than the photos, was clean, comfortable and right on a beach with a wonderfully well kept and large yard. It was a pleasure to come back to it each day after exploring the island. That said, what made the trip exceptional was the host, Kendall was a pleasure to interact with, always responsive and super helpful regarding the house and the area, made several recommendations and even called local resources to confirm that certain parks were open or closed during our stay. We can highly recommend staying here, no regrets.

This was a great place and a short walk to the beach. Also great how close it was to the airport after a long flight to the island. Wonderful Airbnb hosts as well as they were always super responsive and proactive. Loved being about midway between the North and Southside of the island. Couple places we loved near by, favorite shaved ice was Hee Fat and Malasadas at Paradise bakery. Like this rental, very reasonable prices and offer fantastic products!

Michael was an incredible host! My fiancé and I had a wonderful time. The unit is cozy and perfect for 2 people. We definitely loved having an in unit washer and dryer. We used it often! The unit was also pretty nicely located. I ran to the beach in the mornings from the unit and it was pretty quick!

We have stayed at many different properties of Susanne’s over the years, and this was one of our favorite places to stay. Exactly as depicted in the ad. Super clean and super convenient. We can’t wait to come back to Kauai and stay in one of Susanne’s properties in the future.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Rico and Cinzia's place. Everything was clean and you are right up against rocks with water crashing against them. You can see turtles swimming and even spinner dolphin's one day. It is within walking distance to Poipu beach where you can rent snorkels, boogie boards and surf boards. Also, within walking or driving distance to The Grand Hyatt that has wonderful restaurants or Shipwreck Beach that is a great beach and has an easy explorative walk/hike. If I had one critique it would be for stocking the house a bit more with simple things like pens, games, parchment paper or storage bags.

What a pleasure it was to stay at Kendall's! The home was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed from baking dishes, herbs to beach chairs and a cooler. The home was beautifully decorated and having two separate floors for our party of 5 was really wonderful. We really enjoyed having every meal out on the lanai. Having such close access to the beach, Waimea Canyon and more was really fantastic! The cherry-on-top was Kendall's dog Piper, who adopted my family for the week. Both Kendall and Joel were incredibly welcoming and helpful. My parents are already talking about wanting to come back to their home! I couldn't this place recommend more!

The host was very responsive and addressed our concerns quickly, which we really appreciated. We booked last minute, and while the property wasn’t ready upon arrival, the host promptly sent a cleaner to take care of it. Once everything was taken care of, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The view is absolutely wonderful, and despite the initial hiccup, we would definitely book this place again!

James and Sara’s place exceeded our expectations. Incredible location in Poipu, a beautiful “studio” suite with all the amenities you want including a private pool and efficiency kitchen, very responsive hosts, and a truly great value considering this area is in high demand. I would stay again, and I highly recommend these excellent accommodations!

Veronica’s condo was exactly what we needed to enjoy our Honeymoon in Kauai! The location was our favorite aspect, you could get to each side of the island within an hour and we did so many activities that the location was perfect. The condo itself is exactly as described and the pool and grounds are beautiful. The sunrises from the beach right out front are gorgeous and we really enjoyed all the chickens running around. We would absolutely stay with Veronica again in Kauai.

We had a great time here! It was our first time on the island and the Airbnb was in a great location to go all over -- Waimea canyon, Port Allen, Ha'ena state park, etc. The parking spot was easy to find too. Safeway was conveniently across the street to get groceries and the beach was nice to view the sunrise from. We did hikes daily and the in unit laundry was extremely useful and A/C highly appreciated. The kitchen was nice and spacious and perfect for making breakfast. The hosts thought of basically everything, including a new dishwashing sponge! We only had to pick up paper towels from the store. The hosts were also flexible with check in and checkout times which worked well with our flight times. Overall the Airbnb was well stocked, well located, and the hosts were helpful and responsive. We would happily stay here again!

Loved, loved Bret’s place! Beautiful first floor corner condo that provided the best view of the ocean and sunset! Location was quiet and peaceful and a short walk to grass area, pool, recreation room and walking trails. There was a bbq just outside condo near grass area where you could bbq dinner while enjoying the gorgeous view! Condo was clean , organized and had all the extras we needed! There’s a closet with beach chairs, ice chest and snorkel gear which we so appreciated! Bed was very comfortable! Bret’s place is spacious and we felt right at home! Condo is close distance to several spectacular beach’s, shopping, hiking, grocery, restaurants and food trucks. Bret is friendly and great with communication! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Princeville and cannot wait to return to Bret’s place! Thank you Bret for sharing your special slice of heaven with us!

This location is central to everything on the island. The beach by the air bnb is perfect for watching the sunrise or swimming. Would definitely stay at this location again!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The view and time spent on the back patio will be a lifelong memory of ours. The beach gear that was available was super clutch for our days at the beach and a very nice added touch as we didn’t think about that initially. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lyndsy’s place was perfect. Local shops and restaurants. Pool and spa were perfect. And just a quick step outside to the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed staying at your Kiahuna Plantation vacation home so much! The beach out front is wonderful to swim and snorkel in. We appreciated the stocked beach items provided (beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, snorkel gear, etc) So helpful! The unit was quiet and comfortable and a nice respite after full days in the sun. The grounds around Kiahuna are so beautiful and tranquil. We loved walking around and exploring (especially walking barefoot on the Bermuda grass!) 😊 We discovered the orchid and cactus gardens nearby and took many pictures of the flowers and plants. We used the guest laundry facilities once too which was very helpful. The unit was a 5-7 min drive to great restaurants, shops and Kōloa Village which we appreciated very much. Our favorite places to eat were The Fish Market (best poke bowls!), The Masubi Truck and Sueka’s Snack Shack (best cheeseburger and prices!) Thank you again and we hope to be back for another family vacation!

Marcia’s place was a slice of paradise! Perfect place to unplug and just enjoy nature with love ones! Not use to having no AC but the breeze at night was so refreshing and cooling, perfect for a good night! Thank you Marcia!
