I liked this place so much I ended up extending and spent a full week! The large size of the apartment was ideal, and the quiet neighborhood what I was looking for. The town is convenient for exploring the area - it offers many coffee shops, and a few restaurants (some close early). There is also a well-stocked 24 hour convenience store one block away. The building is modern and has its own onsen. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. The owner was always friendly and helpful.

Airi was very friendly and helpful, we stayed at her apartment, which was lovely and had a beautiful view of the sea. The surroundings were spectacular but maybe were bit difficult to move by foot, but there were busses that connected to shimoda station.

The view was good, and I was able to enjoy the hot springs. I want to take care of you again!

We had a great stay and no complaints about the property. It was spotlessly clean, check in and check out were seamless and there was cleaning products left for us as well as a fully furnished kitchen. We were very comfortable the entire time. The hill is no problem if you are relatively fit but getting our suitcases up the first day was a bit tough. If you are looking for a hub between Odawara and Hakone, this location works fine and the accommodation is very close to Iriuda station, however if you plan to explore areas like Mt. Hakone / lake ashi it does take a little more time to reach from this location.

A lovely spot in a quiet beach town, amazing views, stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. The bathroom was also great, a tub and shower with a great view. Overall a great stay.

It was a lovely and open house where the children were overjoyed. We stayed as a family of 4, and both children and parents enjoyed it without any inconvenience. I was grateful for the preparation of tableware, towels, futons, etc. that were not a problem even for a large number of people. I cooked my own food, but I regretted not bringing any seasoning. The road to the house is narrow and bumpy, and I was worried for a moment, but if you go slowly even in the rain, it's no problem.

Eiji's house was gorgeous! It was beautifully and meticulously decorated and accessorised, impressing all of my family members. We really liked having our own private natural hot spring bath, allowing my 3 young boys to experience an onsen experience without disrupting the peace for other users in a public one. The house was spacious yet cozy, allowing everyone to have their own space yet enjoy each other's company. We were glad that Eiji's house was near the ropeway, allowing us to revisit it on the day of check-out as it was raining cats and dogs during our check-in and we missed it. Strongly recommend!

I have multiple dogs, so I am grateful to Airbnb, but this was the most enjoyable time I have had! He has a lot of energy, but he was exhausted from running around the dog run all day and went to sleep. The furnishings and facilities were lovely, and I wanted to imitate them. It's so clean that you wouldn't think it was pet friendly. It was a very comfortable birthday trip for the dog! I would definitely like to visit again◎

Although the exact location is slightly far from major downtown areas, it is easy to travel. The room was very clean, had many amenities, and they were very clear with communication and expectations. Would recommend!

This is the best homestay I have stayed in recently. The house is tidy, the view is beautiful, cooking is convenient, suitable for gatherings, the flow line design and lighting design in the building are perfect.

Two families stayed. It was an immediate decision because it was an inn with a sauna and a hot spring. Located in a quiet villa area, The road is located in a villa area with narrow roads, so you will not feel the inconvenience of the car. The host was also able to respond to inquiries immediately, and the inn manual that we had received in advance had a polite explanation with photos, so we had no problems. Here are some of my worries. The light switch in the washroom was the same color as the wall, making it difficult to find.In addition, the lighting for the sauna's water bath was in the entrance, and it took a while to find it. I thought it would be nice to have a few more types of dishes. There are two refrigerators, but one is inside the door and it was difficult to see. It took a while to ignite because the firewood was tightly packed. However, even with the above, I am very satisfied! The dryer is a Kan-Tan-Kun, the sauna is hot, the futon has a mattress, the projector speakers are high-quality, there are plenty of amenities and towels, it's quiet and has good access, there's nothing to say!I would like to revisit just for this reason! Thanks again ^ ^

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.
