My stay was lovely. I wish I didn't have to leave. It's spacious, it's cosy, it's clean and it's beautiful. It honestly does feel like a way away from home. And Marie? An absolute sweetheart. I will definitely be returning.

Peter was a great host. Greeted me, responded to all my messages but gave me a lot of privacy. When I didn’t need him, I never saw him. Location is about 15-20 minutes walking to shops which might be a little too far but uber is inexpensive. Greenside is centrally located if you’re doing things in Joburg north. The place was fairly basic but very clean and well-maintained. Had no issues with electricity, pests or sanitation. Would stay here again.

Renate’s place was pristine, clean, minimalist, warm and all the nice things! We checked in a day before my birthday and she even got us a cake. She goes over and beyond for her guests and is a friendly and warm presence. Did I already mention how perfectly clean the room was! You have to go there for yourself to truly experience this. Thanks Renate!

A great location and very secure. A warm welcome from host and Max, the very very friendly dog. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We had a problem with the TV on check in, which was sorted right away. A really great little spot. We loved our stay!

Firstly the whole place is amazing, so peaceful and clean. The garden is breathtaking!!!! How can I forget to mention the service? The caretaker is super friendly and so helpful. I’d highly recommend this place.

Staying at Mandy's was absolutely fantastic! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe, the house is gated and the location was central to everything I needed. 4th street is also just a quick walk away and has a bunch of cute stores and restaurants. Mandy was super responsive and made sure I had heating in the apartment (during winter). Would definitely recommend and would love to come back if I am in the area again!

What a lovely stay at Sarah’s beautiful place. I stayed for two nights for a business trip in the city. Everything was spotless. Sarah is a thoughtful and responsive host and will come back anytime I need to be in the city again.

Linda's was a peaceful haven and a perfect night for a business trip. Her furnishings and features were beautiful and very very comfortable. Linda was so friendly and accommodating! I will definitely be back when I have clients in the area.

Nicci’s place was home away from home with attention to detail to the smallest things. With the temperatures dropping due to season’s change a heater was available to warm up the room. Working space was handy too. Tranquil if you want peaceful surroundings. Fresh milk & tusks were a nice treat, including the tea and coffee station

Wow! This is to be one of my favourite stays. The cottage was perfect for a few nights stay, but I wished I could’ve stayed longer. Great full kitchen, the bread, butter, milk etc was very much appreciated. Beautiful rooms, comfy bed, nice lounge, Netflix, beautiful space with nice lighting. The shower was a highlight with great water pressure! Could not fault it and highly recommend.

This accommodation is really convenient for business travel, located close to the airport, and amenities. I have booked with Charles and his wife multiple times. Would definitely recommend them.

My stay at Etienne's place was exquisite! 👌🏿 I loved the place and wish I had stayed longer, but I had to cut my stay short due to unexpected family issues. Without a doubt, Etienne is a great and very responsive host.

I stayed in the apartment for over 3 months and actually booked another 3 weeks later. Mantsikoe is a wonderful host. She usually answers messages in less than 10 minutes and is willing to go above and beyond to solve any situation that might come up. The house is set up to be unaffected by loadshedding and water shortages. She has batteries so that even if there's no power, there is wifi and an extension with power. There is also a water tank, so you never run out of water. Its location is ideal, with coffee shops, shops, pharmacies, and supermarkets within walking distance. The area is quiet, green, and safe. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

I had an excellent stay at Ms. Marry’s place during my trip to Johannesburg. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Ms. Marry was a kind and thoughtful host—always responsive and ready to help with anything I needed. Her warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. Sarah is a fantastic Airbnb host and I now consider her a friend. I cannot recommend her place enough. Sarah made my first solo visit to South Africa an absolute joy. She introduced me to Melville, gave great tour recommendations for the surrounding area, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, safe, and happy during my stay. I stayed here for work at WITS, but would love to come back again for a vacation.
