Created by Carl Strandlund in Columbus Ohio, it consisted of prefabricated porcelain enamel covered panels inside and out making it durable and easy to clean. Easing the postwar housing shortage and its maintenance free design were its selling points. Great care has been taken to reflect its true character so enjoy the well thought out floor plan and huge yard. Close to Northwestern, Gilson park beach, and downtown Chicago via car or train.

Along with the house you get access to the HOA covered private beaches and playgrounds nearby. There is also a bar and grill down the street with live music. It features a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, hot/cold Water station with Keurig, and everything needed to enjoy a meal at home. Private access with individual outside doors for every unit. This studio also features a covered concrete porch with a beautiful vine that stretches above the patio furniture (April through October). Walking distance to many restaurants/taverns and 3 blocks to the public boat launch.
