Jim and Gale's home is beautiful and inviting. The quiet private space on the top floor of the house is roomy and anticipates everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Jim welcomed us at the door and took pride in showing us around the house. The space features an ample bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. It's a restful and quiet room. Outside the bedroom there is a nice sitting room with comfortable chairs, a coffee nook with various teas and coffees, a refrigerator stocked with cold bottled water, and a well-sized bathroom with shower and counter space. We were fortunate to spend time talking with Gale and Jim--they are truly welcoming, lovely and kind people. Their home is perfect for exploring the college or the town as it across from campus and a short walk to Chestertown's historic town center and riverfront. We very much look forward to our next visit.

I had planned this trip a few months out, knowing I wanted some peace and quiet for myself and my dog. Little did I know that I would be recouperating from 2 surgeries. Tom's place was exactly what I needed. Quiet, beautiful and serene.
