My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

Everything was very nice, the tent was clean, the bed was good to sleep, the food was good, the people were friendly, and John's safari was definitely the most professional!We saw the animals we dreamed of, got here, be sure to look for John, everything was great!It was really great!

The apartment is lovely and looks just like the pictures. It has a cozy, lived-in feel, so you’ll notice some aging in the furniture and appliances, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The location is quiet and convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Leila is an excellent host—responsive and easy to communicate with, which made my stay comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

What a beautiful beautiful place. The pictures don’t do the house justice and Tiwi is a beach that is still as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. No beach boys, no grief just lovely people everywhere. We snorkelled, swam in the pool, swam in the sea, played on the beach, rock pool hunted on the reef. Saw amazing starfish, moray eel, box fish and 3 types of sea hare as well as the “usual stuff”. We missed turtles hatching by 24 hours, but watched one come up to lay her eggs . The perfect place to spend a few days with the family chilling, talking and reconnecting. The verandah at the front is the best hub place. Then food - Anthony creates magic in the kitchen. Fresh fish, fruit and his tempura squid with coriander and soy sauce was delish. Fred the taxi driver is great and as a mixed family of 6 we could be as active and busy or not as we chose. The best way to end a trip to Kenya and as a previous resident it was perfect -Asante Tanya xx

The house is a little paradise overlooking the Creek and mangrove. all rooms are amazing and Chef Henry's food was excellent. I would recommend it without a doubt

it was a beautiful holiday in a lovely and well furnished apartment. with a view of the ocean by day and the sound of waves by night. we really enjoyed joeys house and it was very convenient to have a restaurant next door. everyone was very friendly and we had a great and relaxing time. thanks!

Lorine’s place is amazing! I feel like the antique furniture and aesthetics of the colonial styles was flawless! I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends in the future. Amazing quiet getaway for family and friends. Beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff at the property. The walk around the property that we did was very enjoyable by adults and kids alike. The heavy showers added to the dramatic scenery from the property. Definitely will be visiting again when possible!!

We had a fantastic stay at kiko’s beautiful Villa . The house is very nice clean, and well-maintained with tropical garden— perfect for a relaxing getaway. Kiko and Cathy were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, welcome meal were provided since we have arrive late: They went above and beyond by arranging a private chef (Eric)for us including shopping for all the groceries, and the meals were amazing! and also helped coordinate transportation to and from the airport. The location is ideal — just a 10-minute walk to the beach or you can take Tuktuk to the beach. The house also has its own private pool and a great garden outdoor where we could hang out and chill. We were a group of 7 families, and the space was more than enough for all of us. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Fantastic location for a peaceful getaway location. The beach has barely anyone and we had a great time enjoying the beach The garden, pool was spacious and huge. Children loved the space. We enjoyed the food prepared by the chef please note this is a separate cost/arrangement. Omari also organised our transfer from the airport and back. It was an approximate 2hrs drive from Mombasa international airport. I would highly recommend this location. The staff were very welcoming and so was the environment.

We lived our stay at the White House cottage. It exceeded our expectations and we would love to return. We are a family of four and it was perfect. The staff was so warm and helpful. Definitely hire the local chef recommendation. We had delicious food in the convenience of our own veranda looking at the ocean. The location right on the beach with the private, expansive grounds was perfect. The house has incredible views and is extremely comfortable. I highly recommend. If you have a big group, try to rent the White House next door and have an amazing holiday with family or friends.

This is a stunning home get-a-way nestled in a tranquil compound. It has lots of natural light and the option of enjoying the breeze from the surroundings (with the ceiling fan on for the upstairs rooms) or utilizing the air conditioning if desired. It is just as described in the details and more stunning and peaceful to be there! I loved that it was just a short walk from the house to the pool or beach! Along the magnificent beach there are wonderful restaurants to dine at. Margaret made the check-in process and the stay seamless and relaxing. Any questions that arose were responded to in a timely and courteous manner. Look forward to a longer stay next time!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay with family of 5. The owner responded quickly, send us very detailed information of all you need to know and arranged pick up at Mombasa airport. The staff is very friendly, helpful and at the same time gives you privacy. Reuben the chef provided us splendid meals, we especially enjoyed all the fresh seafood!Recommended is to do shopping before arrival because bigger supermarkets are 40 minutes drive away. Fruits, vegetables, water, fish, soda’s are easy to get in the village but for more luxurious groceries you have to go to the bigger supermarkets. You can book the pick up from the airport with a shopping stop in Nyali. Neen Tree is a lovely family house with marvellous view and direct access to the ocean. A friendly monkey family lives on the property and are fun to watch. Besides the pool we loved going snorkelling on the rif using the equipment from the house. For transport we used Tsuma with a comfortable 7 seater which we used for a Kilifi trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibambe Villa, one of the nicest properties on the Kenyan coast. We were with two families and 4 children. Kids friendly pool, with easy and direct access to the best stretch of beach in Watamu. The house is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

Come for the views, stay for the food! What a beautiful spot with tons of space to spread out. The house and grounds were gorgeous, located on a pristine beach, yet relatively private. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Pool was refreshing, yet surprisingly deep. Chef Nixon made us amazing seafood dishes all week. Only draw back was the lack of A/C in the bedrooms, which most comparably priced stays offer in the area. Check out the kite surfing, SUP, and kayaking rentals right next store. During low tide, head straight out half a mile to the sandbar and enjoy hunting for starfish!
