Crista’s place is lovely! I had a great time. It was a quiet, clean and comfortable! So convenient to restaurants, bars and the river in the quaint cute little town of Keosaqua! This cute little place has everything could possibly want and more! Thanks for a great get away! I’ll definitely be back:)

We loved our stay at the Blue bird cottage. The house was nicely decorated and had every amenity we expected—a comfy bed with luxurious bedding, a well appointed kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, and an exceptionally clean bathroom with hotel quality towels and toiletries. My favorite part of staying in this quaint cottage was having my morning coffee on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay again!

I have stayed previously and on this trip my wife came along. Peaceful setting on the Des Moines River and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the covered back porch. If you are looking for a day or 2 or a week or 2, you can’t go wrong staying in the River Cabin. Thanks and see you next trip.

We had a perfect little stop at Amanda’s cabin on their property! It is literally minutes from the state park, and the location felt so serene. At the time of our visit, the bedroom doors didn’t shut all the way, which was a little hiccup for bedtime, but it ended up being fine. Our kids loved Johnny the turkey and the chickens roaming about, and the washer/dryer was so helpful after a day at the lake. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you!
