great place on the cliff, isolated in nature, surrounded by greenery and a lovely host. Our stay got hot mid day, an AC would have been great.

Beautiful property. The beach is very close to the property and you can really enjoy a private time there with your family. Shamil was really helpful and responsive. He arranged an early checkin for us and was throughout very responsive to all the queries. The caretaker Varghese was very sweet and helpful and arranged whatever we needed during the stay. The nearby restaurants also delivers to the location and Swiggy was also available. Would recommend this if you need to live by beach side and want to have a peaceful time.

Jerin was an excellent host and was helpful throughout our stay. We were provided with 2 bedrooms with attached bathooms. He provided good food and helped us with local transport to station and back. The rooms were basic but comfortable. There was no washing machine but a person was there to help hand wash the clothes. Bathrooms could have had better fittings but one cannot complain as the proximity to the beach meant any fitting would rust due to the salty sea air. The house is a 2 minute walk from the beach. The beach itself was spectacular, with hardly any debris. The waters were calm and clean. If you go in the early morning you can see the fishermen bring in their catch. We had a lovely trip and must once again thank Jerin for his hospitality.

We visited Serenity House in January 2023. My two friends and I had visited and from the booking request onwards the hosts Nilesh and Beena have been very helpful and responsive . We were given precise instructions and it was nice to meet Nilesh and Beena who helped us ease the check in. The house has a fully functional kitchen. The caretaker served us good breakfast and was always available for any help that we needed. You have a view of the backwaters and can hear the constant rumble of the sea. The beach is just 100 meters away and the sea.was quite calm. It's mostly an empty beach and it's stretching for many kilometres. Its a calm and silent island. Some restaurants are available a few kilometres away from the place or you can also go to Payannur town for more op pt options. Kayaking and backwater cruise is also available nearby for activities.

Truly an authentic Kerala jungle/beach experience - with all that goes with such authenticity. Our party was warmly welcomed and generously cared for during the week we stayed with Abi and Minnie. We particularly enjoyed the food, lazing in the hammocks and sorties to Marari Beach.

Had a wonderful stay with family and friends. All details in tact with the description given in the website. Good clean spacious rooms. Never felt away from home and ample parking space. Ot would have been better if provided bath towels and washing machine also to be repaired as we had problems with it. Other than these everything perfect.

We stayed at Mavila Krishnan's beach house for three days. The stay was excellent! Walkable distance to the clean, pristine Kappad beach. The beach villa is exactly matching the photos. It was very artistically designed. Peaceful and happy vibes! Thank you Mavila Krishnan for quick communication and hospitality. Tek, Deepa and Sapna were very good. We had great dinner, lunch and breakfast. Would love to visit again! Very happy new year 2024!!

The Cabana was exactly as described. It is right on the beach and you have a private entry to it. The pool was amazing and overlooks the beach- it was lovely to watch sunset from here. The host was very responsive and was helpful in accommodating our large group. They even arranged home cooked catered food for us which was very tasty and took the stress out of ordering from restaurant. Will recommend 100%

We stayed at this property in Kappad for two days with family and really enjoyed the beachfront location—it was right in front of the sea, which made for a great setting. The upper room was spacious and had a lovely view, while the lower rooms were a bit smaller but comfortable. The pool and common areas were well-maintained, and the breakfast served was quite nice. The hosts were responsive and helpful with all our queries. Although the price felt slightly high for the facilities offered, we were overall satisfied with the experience. Would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful beachside stay.

The suite was exceptional, providing a peaceful and relaxing holiday experience. The room's appearance precisely matched the provided photographs. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and readily available to assist with any needs. Getting to Edava Beach was easy from the property. The only downside was some drunk people hanging around the entrance and staring which was a bit annoying when we walked to the beach.

We had a great time at Naveen's place. The house looks exactly like it does on the pictures, very tidy and lovely equipped with everything you need. The place is at a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to awesome restaurants and the beach. Naveen was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend it.

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

how can I start.. Vinod ji and his family are super lovely and good took care of me like I am a family member. Krishna arranged about things to do , yoga session which was really great guru , took me to temple and famous ashram, checked on me always if I want anything. Shanmukha took care about got all the fresh seafood that I requested and made sure I wasn't felt left alone because I travelled alone. He also made the best masala chai in Kerala. Vinod ji was the one who answered me every messages promptly and took good care of any requests. And last but not least my star Yashodha. She cooks amazing food like magic. I will always miss her food. I wish I could take her home with me. 😊 😁

This was a true gem! The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to any queries or requests. One of our family had mobility issues and we were provided with a wonderful wheel chair that was perfect to move around the property. It was lovely having g two outdoor spaces that were covered to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There was some furniture that is a bit dated and in need of replacement in one of the rooms, but the beds were excellent and the bathrooms were beautifully appointed. The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. There was a beach close by with hardly anyone on it, almost like having a private beach! Breakfast was provided, food was great! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff Highly recommend this for individuals as well as for larger groups

Five stars for the views! If you are looking for a serene morning views and ocean sounds at night, this is the place. We booked the entire home with two bedrooms. It was easy to communicate with the contact and care taker, Vinod. He is at the property and is very helpful. The location of the actual home which is through a 5 star beachfront resort and requires a good 10 min walk/hike. We had kids and we did not mind walking. Place is worth the visit. Thiruvananthapuram port which is among the largest port is visible on the far right from the property but it did not bother us. I would highly recommend the property. Vinod and team served us warm breakfast in the morning. With some arrangement, you have access to the 5 star resort. We were there for the Christmas Eve and were able to attend a fancy Christmas Eve party entertainment although we did not pay for it. Vinod can explain better how they made that arrangement. Vinod arranged to take care of our four large luggage.

Very nice place close to the Varkala cliff. Sujeesh waited for me at the helipad, and was extremely friendly. The place is adjacent to the helipad - which is a prime location in Varkala. You can take a promenade in the evening and explore the local markets, restaurants, and the beach, which are very close by. Janardhana Swamy temple (which is a 2000 years old Hindu temple) is just walkable distance from this place. You would be able to find many adventure sports also nearby. Overall a good experience.

Great stay

I will fall short of words to describe the beauty, class and charm this place has to offer. Starting from the location, to the linen, the crockery, the cutlery, the interiors, the lighting and view everything was nothing less than exceptional. The host is an amazing person with impeccable hospitality. He is rather a super host, Rafi is an exceptional person with a wonderful nature and is a great human being. This place is a treat and a delight to to ur five senses. This place is not a project but a dream turned to reality. Highly highly supremely recommend this place, if you like privicy and want to rekindle the romance in your life.

We felt right at home at Mr. Benny's place. Mr. Ansaf and Mr. Taariq was really helpful throughout our stay. The villa is thoutfully decorated and nicely maintained. The surroundings are breathtaking, seating in the garden at night watching the waves crash on the shore will definitely be worthwhile experience for anyone staying here. The breakfast with local food items was nice and you can order food through Zomato and Swiggy from multiple restaurants and Cafes in Varkala. Mr. Benny was really helpful and arranged for a cab for our travel. Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable stay in Privasea Villa and highly recommend it to everyone.

loved the stay. Mr. Dillu (caretaker) was great and very helpful. The house is perfect for a family or a group of friends. Vindhya has been very helpful throughout the stay. She has been proactive and her communication is top notch. Would definitely love to visit again.
