This is an amazing place! The room is most comfortable, has a magnificent view on the trees and hills and has an exclusive ambiance. The bed is nicely soft and while waking up by the sound of birds, there is a nice cool breeze. The decoration is stylish and the bathroom is clean, comfortable and large. Both the hosts are very friendly and nice company for conversation on all types of topics. At night they invited us to have a drink near the campfire which was most enjoyable and fun! It’s also a perfect place from which one can experience Wayanads wildparks. I would highly recommend to have an visit here.

The place is just next to the hills and both directions you find interesting spots to enjoy nature. Wild peacocks, deer and boar crossed my way and a whole bunch of magnificent birds. I recommend walking all east and follow the paths to the major temple 1,5h walking distance. Besides really enjoyed the between in/outdoor shower.

If you are looking for a leisure vacation without much sightseeing in your plan, i would definitely recommend this place. Its located in a beautiful valley with mountains covered with the clouds and it was a spectacular view. We love the concept of mud house which was built in a very unique way. The caretakers and especially Ambily made sure we were comfortable by all means during our stay.The food was authentic and enjoyed every bit of it. They also arranged transportation for local sightseeing when ever we asked for.We really miss the days spent there. Absolutely love coming back again.

I had a great stay. first of all, the accommodation I had selected was not available for reasons beyond their control, however, they accommodated me with alternative accommodation which greatly satisfied me. They were always available to meet my needs. You can have fruit, snacks, tea, or coffee at any time of the day. One of the strengths of this place is the service they offer. It is a place where you have access to impeccable service and great availability. It's important to know before booking that you're quite far from Munnar. You are in Marayoor. However, it's easy to get there by taxi or even by tuktuk. There are beautiful landscapes and walks that can be done on foot here in Marayoor. Finally, remember that you will be in nature, although this accommodation is luxurious, there are insects even in the rooms, but this is completely normal, so just enjoy and be part of the whole ! If you see bad reviews, don't let that stop you and book your stay right away. :)

Mudhouse is one of the best stays we experienced in the recent times. Right from the start the host has been responsive. I would give 10/10 for ambience, cleanliness, convenience and food. Ambili, the manager, is the heart and soul of the Mudhouse. we used to look forward to her banter and stories. Her presence was strong and steady despite the fact that she was unwell. Nobody can feed you with as much love and affection as Devu Chechi. Even a hurt toe didn't stop her from moving around constantly to ensure we were fully fed. She fed us like a mother. Her bright smile use to light up our meals. And yes, last but not the least you must not miss the hike to the view point and the pambar river hike, from the property. A much recommended place to experience!

The mud house accommodation was unique and comfortable, adding a rustic charm to the experience. The breakfast was very delicious. The pool area was also a highlight, offering a refreshing place to relax. While there was a slight lack of maintenance in the grounds, likely due to the off-season, it didn't significantly detract from the overall experience. Despite this minor issue, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

It felt like HOME away from HOME, just because of the caretakers - Goutam and Maya. Great hospitality and two very kind hearted and hard working people!

This airbnb is more like a resort. No need to communicate with the owner since they have a front office and staff that can take care of everything that you need. We did not know our airbnb booking was a fan room only, but they were quick to move us to an A/C room at no extra cost since it was available. You simply cannot beat the price that you pay here with everything the property and nearby area has to offer. Breakfast was included with our booking, and the smoothie bowls were delicious. The resort even has their own coffee shop on the boardwalk. We met the owners in the breakfast area and they were very nice and were excited to get to know us. 10/10 would book again.
