Relax & enjoy your stay in this 3 bedroom, 1 bath upper level space in our duplex. The large upper deck area provides gorgeous water views of the Tongass Narrows and is located 11 miles north of town. *Please note as of 6/11/25: We love pets, have many of our own and have welcomed our guests' pets into our shared space for over 8 years. Unfortunately, we have sustained extreme damages from guests' pets throughout the last year. Due to this we are no longer able to allow pets in this space.

Located directly across the street from Rec Center and skate park. This top floor unit is a fully furnished 2 bedroom 1 bath with all appliances included in your stay. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located hideaway. Located across the street from Rotary beach. Friendly walking path also across the street that local neighbors daily walk to see wildlife, whales, and have an ocean escape. Two parking spots on site. Grocery store and gas station are a 2 minute drive. Bear viewing is also a 4.5 miles drive south. Downtown district is 3.5 miles north where you’ll find the famous “Creek street” and other tourist shops and seafood restaurants.

The place was beautiful. There was a little noise from the other unit next door but was easy to tune out. The place was cozy and peaceful. Nice to watch the rain through the big picture windows. Had dishes, cooking utensils and towels. Great to have a washer/dryer to use. Near two nice beaches that you could walk to. Great to have wifi capabilities. Had a nice two burner cooktop and small fridge. Definitely a place to keep on your list to stay.

Stayed several days and especially appreciated the central location and ease to wander around Creek Street and downtown. My dad lives close by and it was ideal from that perspective. It was easy to get in - just be aware that you need to climb some stairs to get to the suite I was in on the third floor. I slept well each night and the shower was hot and clean. I’d stay again.

Susan’s is not a fancy place where you’re uncomfortable to relax. My brother and I took our boys up here. And were able to spend time outside and on the water and feel comfortable coming home, drying clothes and relaxing without the pressure and worry that we might be in someone’s way or inconveniencing the neighbors. Very relaxing way to cook on the outside barbecue watch the water.

Great place, location, and host. Place was clean, comfortable, well equipped, had an amazing view of the water, and an easy walk down the hill or stairs to town. Mindy was great- very responsive and helpful. We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb and other rentals over the past several years, and hers was one of the best! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful remote southeast Alaska waterfront home

This was an amazing experience for the whole family. Mark and Miriam were so great with helping us plan our daily adventures. We had a great time fishing, hiking, sea kayaking and so much more. They were fabulous hosts and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Collin's place was spacious and comfortable. The heater worked great (a huge compliment in southeast Alaska!), and it is well-furnished. The view of the creek is great, and I would definitely rent here again.
