Holiday rentals with a kayak in Keuka Lake

What a wonderful 4-day stay in a perfect cottage for my 3 middle aged daughters and me on our “girls’ trip!” The house had everything we needed and was perfectly located for our visits to wineries, breweries, Watkins Glen State Park, Ithaca, and many other places in the Finger Lakes region. We loved our evenings by the fire pit with the stunning lake view and beautiful sunsets. The comfortable seating on the covered porch made our one rainy evening enjoyable, and we continued to have fun in the sturdily built game room which became our “safe place” during an unexpected tornado warning! Jaci’s communication was great, and we highly recommend staying at this lovely cottage!

The host was very friendly and accommodating when we had a bump in the road with our reservation. Everything worked out perfectly and we were very happy with our stay.

The house was just as described! Comfortable with lots of space. There were two bedrooms and two living room areas with pull out couches. We went to a few of the wineries around; there was a lot to choose from! We loved sitting on the dock. Only things worth noting are the parking situation, where 5 cars are all that is allowed to be parked in the driveway. This wasn’t mentioned in the listing, but the owner messaged a few days ahead of time to let us know. This could be difficult if you’re having 12 people. There is an additional spot across the street where we were able to fit one more car, but it may not be enough space. Consider carpooling! My party didn’t care, but there were a LOT of dead bugs in the doorways, which could be hard to avoid at a lake house but felt like it was missed during cleaning. There were some dishes left in the sink and the dishwasher & the grill was pretty dirty, so it was also just missed during cleaning. Otherwise, our stay was great & we’d stay again!

We were just so happy with the home as it did feel like we were right at home. We had six adults and there was more than enough room. The location was ideal for getting around Seneca Lake. Being right on the lake, it was a beautiful view and the hot tub was super. We would not hesitate to return to this property as we do love the Finger Lakes.

Marisa’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was so much better than expected! Plenty of space for our large group, the kids were obsessed with the secret room and we all loved the views. It was rainy most of our stay but we were still able to hang by the lake and make some s’mores! So convenient to town and all the other things to do in the area, would definitely stay again!

Several families members and I decided to take a long weekend on Seneca Lake and this house was perfect! It is bright and spacious with gorgeous views and plenty of outdoor seating. There are also restaurants and wineries/breweries close by. We would definitely rent this house again.

So many special touches & extras. The fresh strawberries were amazing! All the lake sporting activity equipment was a huge bonus! The screen porch was the BEST - from the porch swing to the large table where we could eat & play games while overlooking the lake. Absolutely loved our stay!

Beautiful home with amazing views. Great for large families or groups. The playscape was a great feature, the kids had a blast!

Highly recommend. The house was clean, exactly as described, comfortable for family of 5. Amazing lake view from house and only few steps to lake. Perfect place for sunset view over the lake.

This cabin was blissfully comfy and clean - we slept so incredibly well and baked tons of cookies for our potluck gathering the next day in Rochester, which was a very easy drive. Kitchen is nicer than mine at home. Evening walks by the lake for stargazing was the fabulous top up to our delightful stay. 👌👌👌

Loved the location! Even with having the max of individuals able to stay we felt comfortable. The water access was perfect and we were able to enjoy a peaceful weekend away!

We had an amazing stay! The property was clean, cozy and well appointed. We loved having our own private space to enjoy looking out at the lake on both the deck of the house and down by the water itself. So, wonderfully relaxing. We decided to make dinner ourselves one night to better enjoy our time at the house and it’s beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was well appointed and we had everything we needed including a grill in the yard. The home owner was very accessible and helpful when we had a few minor questions. The property itself was situated close enough to the town of Geneva for restaurants and the grocery store but also close to some unique wineries and breweries right nearby. (Side note: War Horse Brewery - Well worth checking out!) I would highly recommend staying at this property. We had a fantastic time. You won’t be disappointed!

The cottage was delightful to stay at. There was a binder with details about local businesses that was very helpful. The kitchen knives along with the pots and pans are very good quality. My husband is a chef and he was delighted.

The place was very clean and everything was as described. Dustin was very responsive before and during our stay and answered all the questions we had very quickly.

The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Fountainbleu Inn (just a short walk to venue). Also, the location next to lake was wonderful. We had plenty of bedrooms with linens/towels and extras like trash bags, paper towels, toiletries, dish soap etc was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook for 10+ people, except crock pot and griddle (which we brought from home). We enjoyed the hot tub and used the propane grill on the large deck. The owner stays close by and was in communication often.

Amazing place we rented both cottages and Frank was more then accommodating for our stay, we would like to come back yearly!

Our stay at Bear Camp was amazing. The view was fantastic, good fishing, easy to get into the lake with our kayaks, lovely porch to sit and relax and a clean, adorable cabin to stay in. What a gem. highly recommend this place and Honeoye Lake

I can’t say enough about Kathi & this cabin! She’s everything you’d want from a host - lovely, knowledgeable & gave the best tips! She was extremely accommodating, responsive & just an excellent host. The “cozy cabin” on Wells is just that & such a special place. The property is beautiful, peaceful & so inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast on the pergola overlooking the pond in the morning & relaxing by the fire at night. You could do nothing else & have the time of your life but you’re also close to lots of lakes, waterfalls, wineries & quaint towns with cute shops so there is plenty to keep you occupied should you want to keep busy. Besides being picturesque, the cabin was spotless & had all the amenities you could ever need. In fact, they even supply extra toiletries in case you forgot something & wine if you’d like to partake. Such thoughtful touches! This was a bucket list trip for us & a much needed recharge. We were sad to leave but can’t wait to go back!

This cabin was even more wonderful than we imagined! It's absolutely adorable. Lindsey & Perry put such care into furnishing, decorating, and making their guests feel welcome. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. The location was simply perfect. The lake is so peaceful and serene. We spent the days exploring and hiking in Watkins Glen and Ithaca, and spent the evenings on the dock. I can see why other reviewers have mentioned returning time & time again... I didn't want to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Loon Cottage! The house is super clean and charming. We loved the open layout, it was perfect for relaxing all together. We loved the outdoor area as well. The deck is beautiful and the kids loved the fire pit. The gradual shoreline was perfect for our kids. No need to worry about a steep drop off. They could just walk in the water as far as they felt comfortable. They enjoyed the kayaks very much! Adam was very responsive and we appreciated him checking in on us after a bad storm. We hope to stay again sometime! Thank you Adam and Melissa!

We enjoyed staying here for a long weekend getaway with our daughter. The backyard is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful, and we saw so much wildlife! We enjoyed using the kayaks that were provided, we kayaked all the way up to the lake! We also enjoyed having fires and watching the neighbors dog, she was goofy! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be curtains for all the windows as the sun comes up very early this time of year. Our host was very responsive and accommodating, allowed us to come a day earlier which was very nice! Would definitely love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time during our visit. The cabin was secluded and private. Great location to hit wineries and breweries for us, we were within an hour or so of everything we wanted to do(we are used to a 20-30 minute drive on a daily basis for groceries). My favorite was the seating area on the dock overlooking the lake.

Cleo’s cabin was an amazing place to stay for two nights. Greg welcomed us warmly and gifted some bait to my kids to fish in the pond. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. The solar power worked well despite the rainy weather and we used the generator very minimally. Beds are comfortable and the heater kept us toasty. The porch is perfect for coffee in the morning and reading in the evening. We enjoyed making a fire and toasting s’mores. My kids loved trying the axe throwing game. All in all a perfect stay. We will be back!

The bed was very comfortable. The cabin is sweet and cozy with all that you need including fridge and coffeemaker and electric teapot. The shower was great too. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning sipping our coffee and watching the sunrise. We also took advantage of the lakefront to go kayaking one morning.
