Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kewarra Beach

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

Wow is the first word that comes to mind. This house was super cool with tons of windows and an incredible view of the beautiful north Queensland has to offer. As big wildlife folks were were not disappointed. Definitely worth a stay if you want to enjoy the forest and a more natural setting.

Very nice relaxing quiet place. Julie looked after us well even providing 6 nice fresh eggs from her chickens. Would recommend.

Melissa’s place was everything it said it was! Your own private pool, beautiful views & modern bathrooms. A full size fridge, most appliances & a BBQ to make it feel very homely. We had the place to ourselves & had a nice & relaxing stay. Melissa was lovely, providing lots of information & went above and beyond to make it stress free. Any time we needed to ask a question she was more than helpful & kind. Would thoroughly recommend Melissa’s place to anyone who manages to secure a booking!

We had a wonderful time at this home it was perfect for our family. 2 couples and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed our meals out on the patio by the pool. The kids loved swimming in the pool.

Awesome super hosts. Responsive, friendly and welcoming. This dream location for an epic family holiday was beyond expectations! The beachfront location with lush scenery and everything you can imagine to see and do was simply incredible!

Frank and Oza are the perfect hosts and we enjoyed our time at their little spot in the rainforest immensely! It's a wonderful place to disconnect from urban life, get back to nature and an amazing soul rejuvenation/ nervous system reset from the stresses of modern life. My partner and I are both leaving feeling so well and happy. We hope to be back 🙏🏻

The views from the house are divine from pretty much every window. It’s only 20 minutes from Cairns and so worth it for the views and quietness. The pool on the deck is absolute heaven. Plenty of entertaining spaces. Five bedrooms with separate aircon so everyone could choose there level of thermal comfort. Well stocked kitchen and an oven / cooktop which was intuitive to use (often trial and error in other airbnbs). 5 minute drive to redlynch shops and pub.

Matthew was definitely a super host with quick responses to any communication. The apartment was in a great location with water views of Trinity Beach and within a few minutes walk to restaurants and a convenience store. A large resort pool was also a bonus to cool off after busy days sightseeing. Thanks Matt for a great stay.

Place was clean, cosy and eveything as described. Great location as it was it is close to the airport.

We spent over a week at this lovely place. The vibe is just so peaceful, bright and welcoming! There are all amenities you could need. The place is a few minutes on foot from the restaurnats and the beach. It was very nice to have the morning coffee in the cozy garden. The pool was great as well. Megan was super friendly and made sure we had all we needed. Hope to be back one day.

Beautiful apartment and surroundings. Within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Owners and admin were very responsive to questions. Beds were so comfortable and everything was very clean. Appreciated the extra towels. Internet was a bit hit and miss and no shampoo in the bathrooms (lots of conditioner though) which may have just been an oversight. We would definitely stay again. unbelievable view and wonderful location for a short stay in and around cairns... will need a car to enjoy the surrounds. place was as advertised and hosts were amazing...responded and offered food choices for a handy breakfast to kick start the day's adventures...5 stars although cant comemnt on the pool as we didnt use it . it looked great, we were time poor this trip will be back highly recomended... thanks +

We had a wonderful family holiday at Dianne’s place. The apartment was perfect for our family with two young toddlers, beautiful setting, clean, comfortable and all the extras for kids, toys, pool toys and a great outdoor spa bath. We had a lot of fun at the resort beach pool and the location in Palm Cove is perfect, by the beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Jack was very easy to talk to and was quick to respond. Told me everything I needed to know. The apartment itself was quite clean. A few marks on the sheets and a tiny bit of dust in places but overall clean and well maintained. It does get quite bright in the back bedroom in the mornings so if you like it dark, bring an eye mask. Beautiful scenery, pools and a quick 10ish minute walk down to the beach, local restaurants and convenience shops. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk from place to place. I would definitely book again next time we come to Cairns

Michael was a wonderful host, very responsive and eager to help with anything. We didn’t have any issues at all staying at the home. It was just perfect for our 1 week getaway - quiet, cool, cozy and peaceful. Perfect for a small family or a couple or singles. A 2 minute walk to the beach and lovely surroundings. Lots of carpark space. Would totally go back next time.

Palm cove is the perfect location for a holiday. Peter and Satina apartment is the perfect place to stay ground floor access to pool and all amenities. We will return.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

Highly recommend Anne's place. A fabulous apartment in a gorgeous Resort! The spa on the balcony was a luxury and so wonderful! Absolutely cannot wait to go back and stay at Anne's place at the Peppers Resort in the beautiful Palm Cove.

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.
