Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

Dafni’s place is pretty with a great view of the harbour. The main Skala beach is also not really far, and the Megalochori beach is only a five minute walk. There’s a good restaurant and bar just around the corner and a lovely cafe/tavern a little further up the little hill. There are also two supermarkets nearby. It’s quieter than if you’d stay in a hotel at Skala but I really enjoyed my stay here - the only thing that bothered my friend and I was the bathroom. It’s really tiny and tough to keep dry because the water from the shower gets everywhere even with the curtains pulled around the shower area. There was also no towel provided to soak/clean the water - we just used one we found in the house. It would’ve also been nice to have some lights on the patio (or at least we didn’t find any) to be able to spend some time there in the evening as well. But all in all it was a good experience staying here :)

Lovely, cosy apartment with great views of the ocean from the terrace. Eleni is a fantastic host - nothing is too much trouble, from renting a donkey for your luggage to providing a list of great restaurant recommendations. Surrounding area is lovely and quiet, but beaches and the port area are all within walking distance. A great base to explore the island from!

Unforgettable stay in Vouliagmeni! Panos’ place was one of the most scenic Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. The terrace view over the bay and sunset was absolutely stunning. The location is perfect — close to cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, and just a short walk or quick ride to the beach. The house was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed. The terrace view is really breathtaking (it’s even better than the photos:)). Panos was an amazing host — super responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Kamàra Apartment exceeded expectations and was even better than the photos show. Stamatia has provided everything you need for a comfortable stay, including food basics and water on arrival. The place is spotless and the toiletries and linen top quality. Beach towels and slippers were a lovely and welcome surprise. Very close to Kamini beach and short walk to a couple of tavernas and all day cafe. Rooftop such a wonderful additional space to relax and watch the Hydra world go by. Stamatia was so helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I can easily say that me and my friends had an amazing time staying at Thanos‘s Airbnb. Not only did he pick us up from the Poros port when we got off of our ferry, but he drove us with a mini tour around the island, brought us back to our Airbnb, gave us a tour of the place, and gave us a very detailed list of all the good places to go to for food and drinks. I can say he’s easily one of the nicest locals I’ve met and such a kind man. I would 1000% book with him again!!

I scheduled this trip at the last minute, and Kosta responded to my request quickly. He took time to show me how to get to the listing and provide such a thorough and welcoming introduction to Poros and his home. The view was serene, the neighborhood, authentic, and home was beautiful. I will definitely be booking his place again when I return. Thank you again, Kosta!!!

Katerina was very clear in her instructions and very responsive to questions. She came to meet us and showed us everything we needed in the home. The view was amazing, the house spotless and she is a great hostess. Defiantly recommend staying with her. The village is typical old-world style so be prepared for the narrow walkways and steps. A very wonderful stay!

Quel bonheur de séjourner chez Théodoros. Ce fut notre deuxième fois, mais certainement pas la dernière ! L'appartement est confortable, parfaitement placé et très calme. Point positif en supplément : très bonne connexion wifi.

Super easy check in, nice location - far enough from commotion of downtown poros but still only a 10 minute walk.

Nous avons eu une excellente communication avec Gogo et avons apprécié son Airbnb, très bien placé, à quelques pas de l’embarcadère. Elle a également été flexible sur les heures d’arrivée et de sortie, ce qui était très appréciable ! Je recommande

Άψογοι οικοδεσπότες και εποκοινωνιακοί. Εδειξαν ενδιαφέρον τόσο για την άφιξη μας στο νησί και την πρόσβαση μας στο κατάλυμα, όσο και για την διαμονή μας. Μας εκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν να ήμαστε δικοί τους άνθρωποι, πρόθυμοι να μας εξυπηρετησουν από την πρώτη στιγμή που επικοινωνησαμε μέχρι και την αναχώρηση μας απο το νησί. Η Βένη και ο κύριος Νεκτάριος μας αφησαν τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ και σας ευχόμαστε τα καλύτερα! Εννοείται πως αφήνουμε ανοιχτό το ενδεχόμενο να σας επισκεφθούμε πάλι.

Πανέμορφο, φωτεινό και πολυτελές διαμέρισμα όπως στις φωτογραφίες. Σε ήσυχο/ιδιωτικό σημείο μέσα στην πόλη αλλά ταυτόχρονα πολύ κοντά με τα πόδια στο λιμάνι. Όμορφη εμπειρία ο χώρος με το τζακούζι στην ταράτσα. Ο οικοδεσπότης ευγενικός, επικοινωνιακός και πάντα διαθέσιμος να επιλύσει άμεσα οτιδήποτε απρόοπτο.

Perfect villa, a lot of green and sitting area in a perfect garden. 2 swimming pools with jacuzzi, very good kitchen with full Miele equipment. Breakfast and extra cleaning included. Very neat rooms, high class big TV, nice furniture. Classic Greek villa in one of the best and chique areas of Athens riviera. Quite neighborhood, but all the restaurants and bars are not far. Walking distance from the sea. Very nice, helpful and understanding host.

Our stay at Olon's place was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Olon goes above and beyond to ensure their guests have a memorable experience. Their service-mindedness was exceptional – they made sure we always had everything we needed and were incredibly attentive to any requests we had. The apartment itself was in pristine condition, with every room well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The quality of the furnishings and amenities was top-notch, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The highlight, however, was the stunning terrace. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. If you are looking for a quiet slice of island life you can't do better than staying at Faidon's House. Located in a quiet pocket of Aegina away from the hustle of the port area, Faidon's House is a real treat. Numerous tavernas operated by some true characters are within a short walk as are several beach bars to while away the hours staring out at the beautiful horizon of glistening blue sea and stunning island vistas. Alkis is a superb host, responding immediately to any questions we had during our stay as well as sending over some recommendations for places to visit beforehand.

Splendid appartement with great roof terras, in a lovely town. Nice places all around in short walking distance for food, drinks, ambiance, bakery, supermarket and a beautiful scenery! I can highly recommend this place! The host is also very service minded and responds very fast in wonderful ways.
