It can be closed off and you'll have all the privacy you'll need. But, I live downstairs and we share the frontdoor & hallway during your stay, so it is not a place for parties and loud groups.

The Poldersschuur is an independent home for up to 2 people, with all amenities you could wish for. On the ground floor you enter the cozy living room with kitchen. The bright, stylishly furnished living room is a great place to stay. Relax on the big couch with a good book or watch a movie or your favorite program on TV with excellent sound system and radio. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher, combi microwave, pressure cooker and Nespresso machine.

The little cottage was very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed eating in front of the patio door and looking out into the garden. There are a few chickens there, which we enjoyed a lot. The two cats visited us from time to time, we liked that very much. Sara and Steven were very friendly and always answered our questions very quickly. Thank you again for that. Tienhoven is a beautiful little village, we felt very comfortable there.

A beautiful oasis on the outskirts Central Utrecht! It's very spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my morning cup of coffee taking in the beautiful view of the garden through the huge windows in the living room. Fleur and family were lovely and very helpful. We felt very welcome. The train station is an easy ten minute walk. Grocery stores are also in the vicinity of train station.

The house is beautifully located on a dike. The neighborhood is very quiet. You can park on the street for a small fee. Amsterdam and Utrecht can be reached very quickly. Hairlem, a great city, and the beach in the west are also within 1 hour by car. We enjoyed the time very much. There is everything you need in the house. Everything is absolutely uncomplicated. And of course, the water directly in front of the house is especially great. You can immediately switch off, put on your swimsuit and jump into the water. Overall it was a wonderful week.
