The Hideaway At Kilbride Farm.

The Hideaway is close to the beach and a 10 minute drive from the village, in a rural location. It is a self contained annex attached to the owners accommodation. It has one bedroom with a super king sized bed in it and space to erect a Z bed for a child, a large bathroom and a lounge with a kitchenette that has a 4 ring hob, and a combi microwave/convection oven. In the lounge area there is a double sofa bed. We feel that it is best suited to up to 3 adults or couples with up to 2 children.

Romantically remote yet so close to the well known playgrounds of Tighnabruaich and Portavadie. A piece of paradise awaits you here set in bucolic surroundings of green fields with sheep and birds for company. Awe inspiring views towards Arran’s mountains and close to one of Scotland’s best beaches. A place to escape to and slow down.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. I expect to be at the lodge to meet you when you arrive. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
