Our place is only 4.6km from the Dublin/Westport train line and close to Knock & Shannon airports (31km & 135km). Located only 4.7km from the local town Claremorris, which has boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, & great sports facilities (tennis, equestrian, gym and indoor pool, athletics track, etc). A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Newly refurbished home, situated close to N17 with a spacious enclosed garden and yard. An ideal location to use as a base for the wild Atlantic way with Galway, Westport, Sligo less than an hours drive away. 15 km to Knock airport, 3 km to knock, 2 to Claremorris. The house offers 2 living areas, spacious kitchen\dining room, 3 beds, 2 bath. The house offers a mix of modern and traditional features, with fully equipped kitchen, wood burner, oil central heating, WiFi and modern amenities.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Milltown tranquil Log cabin.

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem. This newly built log cabin sleeps up to 3 people comfortably but 4 if required with the use of the fold out sofa bed, warming electric fire and mod cons such as kitchenette, heating, smart TV and tea making facilities. Bathroom with hot shower situated just next door in an additional log cabin. Both log cabins are fully covered out front with a veranda. Additional accommodation available, check for availability. No Internet available.

Chestnut Cottage is a newly renovated 1850’s Guinness Building surrounded by Ireland’s finest nature. Ideal location for exploring some of Ireland’s most popular destinations , Connemara and Galway City.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Curraghduff Farm offers unique alpaca experiences and now welcomes you to stay. This self catering glamping site is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors. We have 3 individually themed huts on site but they are spaced out enough to ensure privacy. The glamping site is based on a small farm with alpacas, chickens, pygmy goats and sheep.
