Such a beautiful setting in the “country”! Jim’s estate is beautiful. If not for the rain, we’d have been exploring his gardens. Room was very comfortable. Jim is a lot of fun to get to know. We’d love to visit again someday.

We loved our stay at Betty’s place! She gave us a very warm welcome, with everything we needed for our 2 year old and shared a pint of Guinness with us too. Lovely view out over the mountains and great proximity to some wonderful hikes. Plus only an hour from Dublin. Strongly recommend staying here if you’re looking for an escape to the great outdoors. I had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautiful location. From the moment I arrived, I felt instantly at ease. The surroundings were tranquil—perfect for unwinding and recharging. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Emma Jane was absolutely lovely—so friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. You can really tell they care about creating a positive experience for their guests. I truly appreciated the little touches and the warm hospitality throughout my visit. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in a calm and comforting setting, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to coming back!!

The room was spacious and spotless, fresh smelling bed linen which is always a good sign. Bathroom was spotless with great shower pressure. Marian leaves tea and coffee making along with fruit and biscuits. How often do you get a chance to make a cuppa tea and enjoy it in bed before starting your day. The location is so peaceful, quiet and calm. After being out for the day it was just lovely to come back to it.

Kevin was extremely helpful. The house was easy to book, easy to find, spacious and clean. No complaints whatsoever. Great stay.

I think this was the most fully set up airbnb I've ever rented. Marian had left bits for a fry, scones, snacks and even dog treats for our pup. There was milk/butter as well as everything needed to cook for yourself, things like oil, salt/pepper, ketchup etc. Perfectly sized tiny home, plenty of room downstairs in kitchen/livibg area. Cosy bedroom and ensuite upstairs. Clean, nicely decorated and slap bang in the middle of the town.

Geraldine is such a lovely host, she was so good with my two girls and they loved the raspberry bush in the back garden! Very responsive and very helpful. We'll be back to stay again

Niamh welcomed us with a big smile and got us to our room in no time. We had tea and cake to start us off, most lovely, especially sitting outside looking at the stunning view over te lake. The room was neat, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Niamh recommended some really good places to have dinner, we went to the balimore Inn (very nice) We had a delicious breakfast the next day, perfect to start our day. We didn't have time to walk the trail to the lake, but we'll do that next time because are certainly coming back! We loved it!

Catherine was a wonderful host. Breakfast was great and Catherine went over and beyond to accommodate, including preparing a delicious early breakfast. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

Helen was very welcoming and helpful, made a lovely breakfast and gave us some good recommendations for evening meals out . Nice and quiet setting with stunning views .

Not a bad word to say here. We had a great stay from start to finish. From flexible check-in, to some really nice welcoming touches in the room, we couldn't have asked for more. Catherine was so accommodating and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was covered the following morning in Dubh cafe (great food). First time in Newbridge, but won't be our last.

It's a lovely place to stay on your holiday. Very good idea with the breakfast in the bedroom.
