Villa holiday rentals in Kilifi

A huge thank you to Christine and her team at the Swimming Ostrich. A really beautiful place - very clean, orderly, Green and private. My 5 year old enjoyed the pool which is well maintained and cleaned daily. The caretaker Phidellis, cleaner Mariam and the taxi driver Maurice are so kind and helpful. I loved the house, orderly, clean, rules are clear and the Beds are sooo cosy. My family and I had a great time!

This was our second stay at this lovely spot in Watamu. Beautiful garden, pool and chill-out area. This is really great for groups and just a short walk away from the ocean, where there are a lot of restaurants and beach bars. But Thomas the chef is also amazing - we had so many delicious seafood and meat dishes throughout our stay. Couldn’t recommend enough!

An incredible house and a great spot. Fulvio was a great host, responsive, kind, helpful. He made great suggestions for local things to do. A lovely pool and nice staff. It was a great space and a great holiday. We did see a few other local places listed for slightly cheaper when we were there, but honestly wouldnt change a thing.

The chef Daniel , the caretaker Josphat and the rest of the team did a great job taking care of us . The food was perfect every day every meal . Thank you Daniel. Josphat showed around the beach and mombasa town . Great people.

It was my second time in Swordfish Villas and Mila’s villa was absolutely fantastic. Very well maintained and well equipped. Communication with Mila was very easy and always helpful. The staff at Swordfish Villas are wonderful. Jimmy did an excellent job at the house. If you want to spend some days in paradise, book Mila’s house.

The house is spacious and has an absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean from the living room balcony. The onsite manager, Juma, was very nice and helpful and was an awesome tour guide for our excursions (snorkeling, dolphin watching, and sunset cruise) Host was responsive and was quick to address any issues. Would book again

Absolutely incredible villa, everything went above and beyond what we could have wanted. Fantastic location with incredible views of the beach and the sunset from the roof. Everything is spacious, clean and we felt very at home and in our own private oasis. Joseph, Dixon, Moses, Robert and the team were such a delight and always on hand whenever we needed and we were so grateful for everything they did to enhance our experience. Thank you Antonio and Yasmine for a lovely stay in Watamu. The staff in both villas made us feel completely at home. Chef Evans continued to impress us with his delicious meals, Maggie, Andrew and the staff in the 2nd Villa were all amazing. We would recommend AC units in the main villa as the rooms would get hot at night. The other villa has nice cool rooms because they had ACs in each room. Overall, a fantastic stay - great food, great location, great rooms and great fun in the swimming pools - day and night. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibambe Villa, one of the nicest properties on the Kenyan coast. We were with two families and 4 children. Kids friendly pool, with easy and direct access to the best stretch of beach in Watamu. The house is beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated, with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

A wonderful getaway with friends. The villa is beautifully appointed, spacious, and a great place to be away from the bustle of the big city, and even the small. It's close enough to arrange a tuk-tuk to get groceries or to a restaurant, but far enough away that you feel like it's an oasis. Friendly and accomodating staff, and Biliana's a very responsive host. Exactly what we were all looking for over the course of a long weekend, and an impressive find. Cheers!

We had an absolutely peaceful and fun stay at Villa E'mocean! The house is stunning and well laid out. The bedrooms are spacious and the living areas are very open. The salt water pool is perfect for little ones to play in and has a perfect lap lane for those that want to really swim. The best part was the amazing staff that took great care of us from Chef Bony cooking meals just for us to Marita and Euralia keeping everything clean and organized. We are so glad we came and we hope to visit again!

Amazing stay! Gorgeous spot on the ocean with lovely grounds. The pool was large and great for relaxing. There were trees and flowers, all beautiful and nicely taken care of. The staff was more than accommodating and the chef was AMAZING. Loved our stay.

Excellent house for big family or group or friends. Really kids friendly. Big pool and right to the beach. The Chef can do better but he was willing to learn.

We had an extended stay @ Tarangau for our honeymoon and it was total bliss! We stayed in the villa + also the cottage and both were stunning. I love the decor its very tasteful and perfectly blends the natural surroundings with elegant interiors. The staff are so wonderful, really kind and efficient, making you feel right at home. The place is always kept spotless and they go above and beyond to make sure the property is immaculate. Michelle and Phoebe have been so helpful and accommodating with also lots of recommendations in their guide book, they're the best. I'd love to spend every January here for the rest of time! Chini Juu is a wonderful oasis in Watamu. Set tucked away about 15 min from the busy town centre, but within easy reach by tuk tuk or boda boda. Lucy and Denzel, the 2 staff on compound, are very helpful and around if you need. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, beach/swim towels at hand.

My girls an i enjoyed the space. Felt at home and enjoyed everybit. The night wandering cats are annoying though, if you don't lock the kitchen they misbehave. Also Wifi and a form of entertainment would be perfect. Request to extend pool time access. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and professional. Will definately visit again 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Ideal spot in front of a paradise beach in front of watamu coral reefs. The view and the location is just ideal. The host was always there to help and provide advices. Just maybe missing moskito nets on the windows downstairs. Asante sana

This villa is the epitome of serenity. My friends and I had an incredible stay here. All amenities and restaurants are easily accessible if you prefer dining out, but the in-house services were truly exceptional. The staff, chef, and masseuse provided some of the best experiences in the area. Having in-house laundry services was a major convenience. If you're seeking a quiet and peaceful place to unwind, this is it. Kudos to the host for their quick responses, which made the check-in and check-out process seamless.

The house and staff were fantastic. I will definitely choose the same place for my next trip to Watamu. The staff made us feel right at home and were always there to assist with anything we needed. Silvia is an impeccable host: welcoming, very kind and always available for any need. From the start, he provided me with a lot of useful information on what to visit and do in the surroundings, making the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in was simple and well organized. The villa is truly splendid: spacious, bright, tastefully furnished and above all very clean and tidy. Every detail is carefully taken care of, and you can feel an atmosphere of peace and relaxation that makes it perfect for breaking away from the routine. It's the kind of place where you don't just want to spend a few days, but where you'd want to stay for months. An excellent experience from every point of view. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to those looking for a quality stay. 😉
