Holiday houses in Kini

A very nice and quiet place with a fantastic view from the stunning and spacious terrace. Just a 5 min walk down the hill to charming Kini beach. Smaragda was very easy to communicate with and gave us a lot of useful information about restaurants, logistics etc. A very special place we would love to come back to!

La mia esperienza presso la casa di Eirini a Kini, Syros, è stata davvero positiva. La posizione della casa è eccellente, a pochi passi dal mare e con un'ottima vista, perfetta per chi ama vivere l'atmosfera autentica dell'isola. La casa è ben organizzata, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Anche se sotto casa c'è un cocktail bar piuttosto vivace, per noi non è stato un problema, anzi, ha aggiunto un tocco di vivacità alle serate estive, come è normale in Grecia durante il periodo di Ferragosto. Abbiamo esplorato la costa est dell'isola, visitando spiagge spettacolari e poco affollate, ideali per chi cerca tranquillità anche in alta stagione. Consiglio vivamente un giro in barca partendo dal porto di Kini, un'esperienza imperdibile per scoprire le spiagge più remote dell'isola. L’acquario locale è una piccola chicca, perfetto per una pausa dal sole. In sintesi, un soggiorno splendido in una location strategica con un'ospitalità calorosa e attenta.

Blitzsauber Wohnung, sehr bequeme Betten, großzügiges Badezimmer. In der Wohnung lagen sehr viele Pflegeartikel bereit und außerdem Wasser, Wein, frisches Obst und Snacks. Vielen Dank liebe Thania! An allen Fenstern sind Fliegengitter und praktische Fensterläden. Was vielleicht wichtig ist: Alle Räume sind Durchgangszimmer. Wir wurden von Thania selber freundlich begrüßt und eingewiesen, vorab hat sie uns Tipps für Restaurants und Sightseeing geschickt. Wenige Schritte zum Bäcker, kleiner Supermarkt, Bars, Restaurants und an den Strand. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, Kini und auch Ermoupoulis sind sehr schön.

I can’t find the words to properly describe how amazing this house is… First of all let’s start with the view. A 180 spectacular scene of the perfect Med which literally removes the stress and grounds you in its splendor with daily sunsets that took our breath away. The house is comfortable, really well equipped, very clean and cosy. A perfect location for a family with lots of lovely beaches and restaurants nearby. You definitely need a car and the host (not the owner) kindly met us at the ferry to escort us since it’s not easy to find on Google. I would dream of returning to this very special home. I cried when I left and I want to thank the owner and Effi for making everything so perfect.

5 star for the location - kini is a beautiful place and the place is just in front of the beach! Great views as well and two units of functioning air conditioning. Beds were very comfortable - 1000 stars for the beds and the quality bedding and towels! I also appreciated Ioannis help both an issue that rose with the house and it was quickly resolved and his help with some special requests on the first day - like having a table at the terrace - which was important for me. I also highly appreciated that he and his partner took me out one day at a beautiful performance. 5 stars also that the place had many towels which it is something that I always appreciate. The only thing that the listing is misrepresenting and I believe that needs to be rectified is that the place is listed as two bedroom while it is one bedroom with 2 beds at the entrance room. There is no doors that separate these beds from the rest of the house-anyone entering the house-i.e. no privacy for these 2 beds.

Het is een leuk huis in een geweldige omgeving. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn, het huis heeft verschillende lagen. Naar het dorp/ strand wandelen is een eindje naar beneden maar goed te doen, goed voor de kuitspieren. Maria is een geweldige gastvrouw, niet was te veel om te regelen. Toen wij er waren was er nog een slang gesprongen van de waterkraan in de badkamer. Gelukkig waren we redelijk op tijd terug, badkamer en slaapkamer waren nat. Er zat een stopkraan tussen de leiding en de kraan die we uiteindelijk dicht kregen. Maria heeft een loodgieter laten komen en netjes opgelost. Alles helemaal prima, ook erg vriendelijke mensen als buren.

Our hosts were absolutely phenomenal. George picked us up from the ferry and gave us so many great recommendations for local vendors and places to eat and beaches to visit. We came to Syros to elope and it was the perfect setting at George’s home. He and his wife went above and beyond- even made us delicious traditional wedding cookies! If we could give six out of five stars, we would!

We had one of the most amazing stays in Kini with Katerina. What an absolutely amazing human she is! I've never experienced such generosity, kindness and helpfulness from a stranger, or an Airbnb host, in my life! The location itself is perfect, with easy bus routes around the island and just a quick 10 minute walk from the beach. Katerina has plenty of adorable cats to hang out with in the evenings, and I already miss cute little Nino the dog! Katerina was also extremely fast at responding to our messages and helping out whenever we needed anything. She gave us local recommendations, a variety of homegrown and homemade foods, fruit and bracelets throughout the week! She cleaned our sheets and towels halfway through the week, and offered a load of laundry too. She arranged our leaving taxi for us, and created such a beautiful outdoor area to spend the evenings in. Thank you so much Katerina, we will never forget you, and we hope to come back one day! ❤️ Beth, Ella and JJ ❤️
