1 bedroom, self catering suite with own entrance

TeresaRating, 5 stars13 months ago
There is such a long list of good things here. Start with the view, not many bedrooms offer full height glass door view of the sea to wake up to. Our hosts were gracious and attentive, and gave us many local tips. The kitchen is small but effective and everything was spotless. Breakfast a journey of delights each day; the roaming mower a silent entertainment. We were visiting for Spring Fling art fair, and this proved a perfect base. We will have to return to explore the surrounding coast and countryside. Everything was perfect. Thank you Elizabeth and Brendan.

Holly Blue - Cosy wooden lodge, Kippford

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Perfection Personified! Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Clear punctual instructions from the word go and went the extra mile. Upon arrival there was everything you needed including a variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Fresh milk in the fridge. The hosts even asked us what cake we would like and on arrival we had the most amazing chocolate cake. The accommodation is better than the pictures show. Clean and warm upon entering with excellent facilities and everything you need. You really do not need to think about bringing anything. Front room is spacious, large tv with every channel you can imagine. The kitchen is perfect in every way with everything you need to cook a homely meal. Beds and bedding very good quality, aided by the quietness of the site and the perfect location ensured a very good sleep. The outside decking is first class with plenty of seating and the opportunity to follow the sun and have a different view of the countryside. Simply amazing

Gorgeous 3BR Norwegian Lodge with Stunning Views

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A great stay, lovely lodge - well worth the money. Plenty of amenities provided including a well-stocked kitchen, bathroom supplies and some board games. A nice site overall, with the neighbouring site also looking great (not sure if same providers). Bar down the road, nice rural area. Would stay again.

Perfect Couples Escape near Beach & Onsite Dining

MikkiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A lovely place in such a beautiful location - right next to a deer park and a short walk from the beach. The kitchen had anything you could need for cooking/baking and Mark and Becky were kind enough to provide us with bread, milks and snacks along with a hand-written note. I can’t think of anything bad to say about the place and would definitely recommend to friends and family

Beautiful Kippford Period Home - Spectacular Views

RobbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My friends and I stayed at Cathy's place, the home is actually nicer than the pictures suggested, big table for dining and plenty of places to gather in the house. Plenty space for parking but be aware the road in is single track and narrow. Good location a short walk away from local cafe and pubs.

Treetops was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful and peaceful woodland, lovely walks from the cabin, and lots of wildlife to watch. The space was lovely and warm, the bedrooms cosy and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet spot in the country with easy to reach towns for meals or exploring.

Traditional Scottish Cottage in Beautiful Location

HowardRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Cosy, spacious, and comfortable cottage with beautiful garden and outlook. Just a 5 minute walk to the rocky coast path, or 15 minutes to the spectacular Rockcliffe Beach. We stayed during very wet and windy December weather but because the cottage was so warm and the picture window view over the garden, and fields down to the sea was so special the weather didn’t seem to matter. Many birds in the garden and we saw 2 wild deer during the storm whilst we were out walking, just 200m from the house.

Craignair Cottage Garden Room

StuartRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Pat, and her husband Bill, made me and my wife feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until we had to go. Pat's Garden Room within her Craignair Cottage is a beautifully kept accommodation. It was an ideal size for us and is in a quiet and idyllic setting. The Garden Room was very clean, tidy, and had all the amenities as advertised. It was great that there was a good selection of breakfast victuals and it was a very nice touch to have been given a hand-written Welcome Card with some home-made shortbread. The view from the Garden Room 'top garden', with a glass of wine in hand, is fab. The accommodation is only a short walk from the centre of Dalbeattie and is an ideal location from which to explore the surrounding area. It was a shame me and my wife could only spend two nights there. If looking to stay in this area, I thoroughly recommend booking this accommodation. Me and my wife, will definitely look to stay again in the future.
