The home was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything needed, especially in the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking so easy and convenient. The overall setup of the house was thoughtful and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. On top of that, the scenery from the house was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect backdrop for a getaway. Our host couple Indira and Lakshman are very attentive and helpful people whose hospitality comes from the heart. We stayed for six weeks in their beautiful house, which is situated in a lovely garden on a hill in Sirimalwatta. Our flat with kitchen and two bedrooms also has a terrace where we always had our meals as a family of four. We liked it so much that we will be staying here again temporarily on our next visit to Sri Lanka in the autumn. Lakshman also helped my husband a lot with one of his local projects and arranged an appointment for him with the local governor.

We stayed at Mountain Breeze Uplands for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The place lives up to its name — there was a lot of cool, refreshing wind throughout our stay, which made it really pleasant. The views were beautiful, and the house was well-equipped with many useful amenities that made our stay comfortable. The hosts were great — very friendly and helpful, especially during check-in. Overall, it was a very good and memorable stay. Highly recommend!
