Characterful, unique and secluded late 17th century grade-II listed weaver's cottage with private fenced garden situated in the suburb of Fartown 1.4 miles from Huddersfield town centre and train station. There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Ryecroft House is a former farmhouse that dates back to the Seventeenth Century. It is situated in Ryecroft, a hamlet of half a dozen or so houses, a little less than a mile above the centre of Holmfirth. There is plenty of off-road parking and a substantial garden for guests’ use. Guests’ accommodation is the top floor of the house. Access is through the main house, so we share a staircase and hallway, but the flat itself is fully independent with a lockable entrance.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.
