Cosy Room in Family Home

Ronny and Liz are great hosts, discrete, respectful, kind and always responsive! They gave great recommendations about local to-dos. We clicked so well that it’s a pity we didn’t stay long enough to go out party/salsa together! There are two lovely mittens who are friendly and sweet too. The room is connected to the main residence of the hosts and has a nice terrace. We had liquid soap, good hot shower and whole jar of drinking of water, enough storage space. The night could be active with some restless dogs barking from the neighbors. The neighborhood is quiet with private school, medical institutions and condominium. Taxi drivers and guides warned/scared us about past robberies that have happened but Liz, having lived here since a number of years, assured us that it was 10 years ago and so long as we take standard security measures as anywhere else in Kenya, it should be fine. We personally paid attention and haven’t had any security issues here or elsewhere in Kenya:)

Excellent Stay. The communication of the host Erica is impeccable and the responses were very quick which made for a very smooth check-in experience. The apartment is centrally located in a very secure location, adjacent to a mall whilst the apartment still being quiet and private. Location wise, it was handy as being close to shops and restaurants, you could always get groceries or whatever you wanted conveniently, Also a special mention to the cleaners, who kept the place impeccably clean and to Haron, the site supervisor who was very helpful always. I definitely will be staying here again and I highly recommend as the best place to stay when in Kisumu. Thanks for the hospitality. 5 Stars all the way!

We have had an absolutely wonderful stay. Your home is cozy and comfortable. You were very hands on and responsive to our requests. Thank you for resolving the electricity issue it made our stay feel like home away from home. Emily your house manager is also very nice, extremely helpful,open to requests and she cleaned the house meticulously. Thank you for your understanding regarding booking and for communicating regularly to ensure our comfort. You are definitely a guest favourite 👍so kudos to you. I had a really comfortable stay at Florence’s Airbnb in Kisumu. The space was clean, cozy, and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break. Florence was responsive and made sure everything was in order throughout my stay. The neighborhood felt safe, and the location was convenient for getting around town. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kisumu, and I’d be happy to stay here again in the future!
