Lodge Blue Mount Hakuba, 2 Bedroom Suite 209

JasonRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Karen and Greg are wonderful! They're very kind, friendly, helpful and insightful about everything to experience in Hakuba. The lodge is incredibly comfortable, peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything one would need. Ski shuttle stop is just a few steps away. We will definitely be back, mainly because of the fantastic hosts! I highly recommend!!

Asuka Lodge: Triple room with breakfast

SarahRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Excellent location and the rooms were clean and cosy. The bed was very comfortable which we were happy with as we all slept very well. There is only one shower if you don’t want to use the Onsen however we never had an issue with this or had to wait. They also accommodated our dietary requirements for breakfast 😊

Chalet - 2 Futon beds - Share bathroom

I felt so lucky to have booked a room at Ado’s place. He was available at all time to assist and went above and beyond to help me after I had a bad injury on the 2nd day of my ski trip. He helped me move around, stay an extra night and also helped me get to my bus stop with all my luggage. I’d 100% stay here again knowing the service level.

Chalet - 2 Single+3 Futon beds - Share bathroom

SophieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Loved our stay here! So convenient, only a 10-15 minute walk to the bus station / base of the mountain, so we could easily ski at Tsugaike Kogen or catch a bus to a nearby mountain every day. On top of that, Ado offered us rides to and from the mountain every day, and was very responsive when we messaged him for a pickup at the end of the day. The location is unbeatable, and Ado was a very accommodating host. The rooms were cozy but very comfortable. The house is hostel style with shared bathrooms and a shared living area, where they offered breakfast (included) every morning. There was a dry room at the entrance where all of our ski gear was kept overnight to dry out with a heater. The rooms were plenty warm as well. The bathroom area and shower mats were a little dirty, but somewhat to be expected in a hostel. For the price, the accommodation was well worth it, and we would definitely stay here again!

Ado was an excellent host going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Staff was so friendly and made eggs for us in the morning with other items for breakfast. Nice and full for a days worth of ski. Place was everything you could want if you’re looking for a quiet and chill but staff was down for a fun night out. Ask Ado where to rent gear from. He knows the spot with the nicest man in town!

Absolutely perfect for singles and groups. The staff are all so friendly and kind, assisting us whenever we needed. The place was very clean, great walking distance to restaurants and Happo one mountain. They had their own Onsen which was an awesome experience and the Bar was open every afternoon with a great range of spirits. Absolutely would stay here again. Thank you to the team at Nomad Hakuba!

Hakuba Bear's Lodge: King Room Cross-Country

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My wife and I stayed at Bears lodge for our ski trip to Hakuba and had a really great experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond picking us up and dropping us off at the bus terminal on arrival and departure. I would describe this home as a bed and breakfast style stay. You will be around others in closer proximity than you would a hotel but everyone is separated for their privacy with lockable rooms and plenty of space (considering you’re in Japan). We also used the TA-Q-BIN delivery service to send our skis which they graciously accepted before our arrival and had them waiting for us in our room. The lodge is also very conveniently located in the center of echoland with plenty of walkable restaurants and bars around as well as in very close proximity to the bus stops that pick you up and drop you off right at the base of whichever mountain you are looking to ski that day. There’s also a secure dry room for skis.

Japanese-style Room w/Attic Bedroom II- B&B Koyuki

JillRating, 5 stars29 months ago
We had an excellent stay at Markus' B&B. It was a great location in echoland, walkable to all local restaurants, and very close to a variety of free shuttle buses to get to any of the ski resorts. The room was very cosy and clean with a private toilet and shared shower. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, and many great recommendations were provided for restaurants/ options for ski mountains. Markus and Kyoko were excellent hosts and we would gladly stay here for our next trip back to Hakuba!

Western-Japanese Room w/Attic Bedroom - B&B Koyuki

MayaRating, 5 stars17 months ago
My partner and I stayed here for about a week and loved the location as it was within close walking distance to all the major bus stops to get to all the ski resorts. The hosts were lovely and always friendly and helpful with heaps of great recommendations ranging from what ski slopes are good to what restaurants are tasty and local. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back one day for another snow boarding trip! P.S. there was also a ping pong table which we had great fun utilising

Hakuba Bear's Lodge: Family Room Dual Slalom

KathrynRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Leticia made us feel like a guest. She personally picked us up from Hakuba Station with Pedro and showed us our room and the amenities. She made us coffee and breakfast each day. She’s half Japanese/Brazillian and served an amazing brazillian breakfast each day. There was a massage chair in the common area along with tea. We caught the free shuttle from the Jaja convenience store to the snow a few doors down which was easy. Highly recommend. Note there is a bar downstairs below the accommodation open until 10am.
