Happy House is located in a secluded area of Miyota-cho, about 30 minutes by car or 15 minutes by train from the summer resort of Karuizawa. It's a log house that's perfect not only for families with children or groups of friends, but also for solo travelers and workshops!　 From the skylight on the second floor, you can see the majestic Mt. Asama to the north and Mt. Hirao to the south, and at night you can rest while gazing at the starry sky. 　You can use the BBQ on the large covered terrace with a built-in gas table. If you wish, you can use it for an additional ¥2,000 per use. 　 You can use the wood-fired Koya Hinoki large bathtub in the separate building for an additional ¥3,000. Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
